How the Religious-Right whispers in Trump?s ear

... filling his otherwise empty head with ideas of Kingly grandeur.

The month before the 2018 midterms, a thousand theaters screened “The Trump Prophecy,” a film that tells the story of Mark Taylor, a former firefighter who claims that God told him in 2011 that Donald Trump would be elected president.

At a critical moment in the film, just after the actor representing Mr. Taylor collapses in the flashing light of an epiphany, he picks up a Bible and turns to the 45th chapter of the book of Isaiah, which describes the anointment of King Cyrus by God. In the next scene, we hear Mr. Trump being interviewed on “The 700 Club,” a popular Christian television show.

Cyrus, in case you’ve forgotten, was born in the sixth century B.C.E. and became the first emperor of Persia. Isaiah 45 celebrates Cyrus for freeing a population of Jews who were held captive in Babylon. Cyrus is the model for a nonbeliever appointed by God as a vessel for the purposes of the faithful

As we know Trump only ”found religion” during the presidential campaign, as he found a willing Evangelical Christian Right who saw the usefulness in supporting each other for their own selfish purposes. Separation of Church and State be damned

How the Religious-Right whispers in Trump's ear

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, "You just can't argue with success".

They already got him to relocate the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, so why not continue the whisperings.

In Bible times when Jehovah fought for his people, they very seldom had to lift a finger outside of a display of faith or obedience to him.

In the case of Cyrus. The Israelites did nothing to spur Cyrus, it was all done at Jehovah's hand.

Any action taken by Pagan Kings did not result in any acolades by the Israelites for that King, all praise went to their God!

There was also an end game...Cyrus defeat of Babylon resulted in the destruction of Babylon, freeing of the Nation of Israel and restoration of Pure Worship!

Also the NATION of God's people as a whole benefited....Who Benefits today?

So what Bible prophecies apply to our day?

Who are God's people today?

Before you say Christians, keep in mind that when Jesus was on Earth he judged the Jewish leaders of his day as worse than the Nations because of their misleading Religious practices.

Also the death of Jesus was attributed to the Jews, not the Nations.

There is no prophecy regarding any Ruler in the last days saving Christianity other than Jesus Christ!

Jesus himself kept out of Politics and commanded his disciples to do the same.

So why would Christians be charged with voting a man into Office to save them?
