Great if he becomes a star. I think he is the real deal but time will tell.

Pulisic cant even make Dortmunds first team this season.
A one Jadon Sancho has him warmimg the bench

He and Tim Weah of PSG are the future of US soccer, congrats to his Croatian father guiding him on the right track , we have seen a lot of talent wasted in the US!
In reply to camos
Indeed.
Pulisic's definitely been a star for the Americans, here's a big opportunity for him to make it big in one of the world glamour leagues.
No bigger than when Tim Howard went to Manu
In reply to Maispwi
Fair parallel, mind you Howard was with I think Everton first, so his progression was a bit more gradual? At one point I think there were three American keepers starting for EPL teams at the same time? (Howard, Guzan and I think Friedel)
In reply to Maispwi
US will always produce keepers, field players of the highest standard is another matter.
In reply to Tryangle
Nah he went from Manu to Everton
In reply to Maispwi
Cheers, I don't know why I thought he was somewhere else in England before Man Utd grabbed him. Oh well

Someone suggested that this may be a Yao Ming situation, and about promoting Chelsea's brand in the US.
My thought is that unless Pulisic is seeing significant time on the pitch, it's a bizarre move, and considering this is Chelsea, a top team, it wouldn't really make sense.
In reply to Tryangle
he can get good time in midweek games or loaned to a lower team.
Oh boy...here comes ESPN with an over-indulgence of stories about this guy. Has he made it to CBS' 60 Minutes yet? If not then look out.

Nature of the beast. It'll be nearly the same if some American made it to an IPL team.
U.S.A. U.S.A. U.S.A. and all that.
