Looks like the PNC is digging up dirt on the man. Oh well, it actually looks like the PNC did not vet their parliamentarians properly.

The PNC are good crooks, but not good at catching crooks. They spent their entire legitimate time in Parliament trying to catch PPP crooks, but came up with nothing. Charandass is probably sleeping with all his windows and doors open - even in the height of winter in Canada!

The more the PNC+AFC try to sling mud at Charandass the more they are showing us how low they really are. Granger, Scotland and Greenidge should kick out the whole lot and form a new party. They are among the few that seem prepared to respect the law above party politics here.

This is dumbness to the highest extent, right bright boy Rummie and Basil Williams? (tm Anil).
$20/day X 365= $7300 per year.
Unless gambling is illegal in Guyana.
A typical casino frequenter at his socio economic/professional level will walk with $500- $1000 for a casual casino visit.
A factory worker will walk with $100-$200.

Anyhow, y'all should listen to Anil live yesterday.
He spoke many facts that even a Larwa can't refute.
Anyhow, PNC has to win by hook or crook, blatant cheating or resorting to violence....arson, riots, killing.

Just BFI(brute force and ignorance) like geniuses Basil and RamS.
They should stop opening their mouth to confirm their level of intelligence (mostly lack of thereof) and embarrassing not only themselves (no shame) but the great country.

He is the crack detective to discover man spent <$20 at casino. Einstein would never come up with such glaring findings. Then he used it to show what/

That Charrandass is a hero and dem gat nothing against him. Dem can't cheat or fudge even, like the fake text to buy gilbaka or pakoos.
lol lol lol lol

No confidence vote was passed, the speaker said so even in a subsequent hearing. No court will overturn. If I was an Apnu/Afc member I would urgently advise them to start campaigning cool

that won't help! The people who voted for Naggas and his party will switch back to PPP.

I would urgently advise them to reopen the Burnham books on how to effectively rig elections. I am sure Granger knows where that book is located. lol lol lol

lol Seriously, that is news to me. I know him personally, and from the time he was living here in Toronto, gambeling was not his forte. He is very tight where spending money is concern. They should come with something else...

The man was being frugal! Most casinos give free drinks. So if he spends
USD12,829 in losses for the past two years
divided by 365x2= $17.5739 rounded (by majority) to $18 PER DAY,

that would pay for all his drinks for the night!

It is not clear what was the former MP’s gains during his betting, but records show the former MP almost every day between January 2017–December 2018, frequented the Providence, East Bank Demerara casino. According to the records in the year 2017, Persaud lost US$5,796, while in 2018 his losses were US$7,033.

what records are we talking about,? I have seen a lot of records coming from China, but when you dig deeper the records are FAKE.

WI_cricfan 2019-01-04 16:49:06

And BTW don't get me started about records from Guyana....Hint hint I know a man who according to his birth certificate is older than his dad.

He is not a big drinker either. The times we drove up to NY and Montreal, he was always the designated driver bcs he never drank.
The last time we met was last phagwa day at the Suriname crossing. He was driving up to Paramaribo. I couldn't go with him bcs I was with family/friends.
If that gamble story has any credibility, I wouldn't be surprise if it's bcs he was the driver for friends and they did the gambeling. As I say, they need to come with something better. big grin lol

I am glad you came forward. I was trying to account for a mammoth total of a ... $17/day pocket money for a professional.

My nephew/niece went to UG with him and vouched for his clean character.
Gambling is not illegal or else why they have casinos? Will have bright boy Basil Williams try to explain that!
He is not a Muslim violating Islamic rules?
