Please stop this train before it leaves the station cause if this happens Guyana will be 1000 times worst than it was under Jagdeo.

As housing Mister Irfaan had the BIGGEST house in Wes Dem.

Irfaan Ali, the former Minister of Housing, is said to be Jagdeo’s choice.
And, at a recent presser, he stressed the need to provide “young leadership” for the country but was keen to say that this “young leadership” must have experience.
But, a force to be reckoned with would be former Minister Frank Anthony who is a favorite in the party.
At the last congress, Jagdeo topped the list of elected Central Committee Members gaining 718 votes. Anthony came in second with 620 votes while Teixeira came in third with 583.
The CCJ ruling on the two-term presidency is the only thing stopping Jagdeo from running as presidential candidate. Many, including party members, believe that since Jagdeo cannot be President, he prefers someone who will be his “puppet.”
Jagdeo addressed this concern at the recent presser. He said, “Anyone we choose, they will call my puppet. They used to call me Janet’s puppet. So that is okay.”

I don't like what I saw.
Stumbling, bumbling but apparently, reportedly, made a big heist.

A controller, or weak administrator, will employ weaker people so they can be controlled. Don't want people smarter than them.

A stumbling, bumbling one can be owned.

Saw him once here and he made a presentation about investing in housing in Guyana. Looked like a big scam, imho.
Plus, he doesn't look trustworthy. That shady look, can't mek eye contact. Very low wattage light bulb here.

Agreed, Irfaan "tiefing" Ali would not be the best choice, and would be a easy target to campaign against. Having said that PPP could win with any candidate IMO.

Just being blunt/brutally honest, the world according to Goofy.smile

Why you think simpleton Donald was the candidate? Huh? Duh!

Dem saying Anil too smart. He needs to defend them and the country as AG.

I know his grandfather and aunts/uncles from my village.
His uncle and I were close.
I will stake my claim after he becomes President. razz

If not Anil (smarts), give to a neutral race candidate.

Seems to be a common thing among Guyanese to fudge their education credentials. It is a crime in the US. cool

Back in the day education was respected as good as, or better than, religion.
No tampering there.

Some want instant success, do not want to put in the time and effort. Nevermind the lifetime benefits of having a sound education, they prefer to cheat and fake it. As you said it is easy to pick them out.
