One needs to commend the Leewards Cricket Board for standing up against the authoritarian single vote appointment of Pybus as the West Indies Head Coach.
How does this autocratic move happen in 2019?
What is the stance of the other boards? Notably the TTCB, the JCA and the GCB....

Why is it only LICB - Leewards standing firmly

is this to protect Powell from Pybus, just asking

I don't think it has anything to do with that. Perhaps Enoch wants to see process followed or had a regional man in mind for the position. It is Dictatorial Dave so screw the process.

Enoch is a young fresh face, with different ideas to the people, who has been around for decades.
If you listened to Conde last night, you will see he represented the old guard .
The guy the board wanted declined the interim position because of the salary, instead of the board posting within the rank for his replacement, Conde and his group voted for Pybus.
That's why the LICB, headed by Enoch was against the decision
Both Emmanuel and Conde, came to the Mason show, like they were at war, these are the kind of people that run cricket boards in the region.
LICB done. Next regional competition we going back to Combined Islands.

Yes refreshing to see from Enoch and definitely not in the mold of other LICA Presidents who have been rubber stamps for the Pres. I am cautiously optimistic that this is the start of a new approach by the sub regional body.

If Barbados can have a smart, people centre, educated woman as it Prime minister, I can see someone similar taking over WICB/CWI.
