SUGARY DRINKS AND FACTORY DESERTS

Emir 2019-01-10 08:18:45

Only if the masses knew the enormously great benefits form totally staying away from ALL SUGARY DRINKS-this includes so called pure fruit drinks such as orange and other pure fruit juices, sodas or sweet-drinks and other so called nutrients drinks.

Replace with 10- 8 ounce glass of water daily, the first glass immediately in the morning. If you need a little sweetner for your coffee or tea, try a half tea spoon of pure Honey.

In addition, do not eat any deserts that are commercially made- to satisfy your sweet craving- make your own deserts using honey in moderation but gradually get into the habit of having non carb deserts such as dreid fruits, nuts with raisins ets.

Do not eat after 7 pm.

Then reduce your carb intake but stick with those good carbs such as oats instead of those factory bread.
Replace paratha and dalphuri roti with whole wheat sada roti. Tip, add 20% powdered flax seeds to the flour- the roti will be a bit stiff but you'll get use to it.

Just this little change will help to reduce and sustain weight issues, moderate your glucose, and slash any cholesterol issues.

Once you have sustain this diet go on to ramp up other activities such as walking, jogging, swimming each day.

The problem is, most people that have bad eating habits don't know or don't think they have bad eating habits.

I was shocked when this woman I knew, told me that she didn't drink water, she stayed hydrated by drinking sodas. Somewhere along the line, she indulged in sodas to a point where water was not palatable, anymore.

To me, water is like gold and nothing can replace it. My one weakness is snacking but I try to eat healthy snacks. As far as fast goods are concerned, I stay away from McDonalds and Burger kings, every once in a while I might have a burger.

I eat and drink whatever I want. As much as I want. Whenever I want - but only if its within my eating window.

I'm lean and healthy.

Intermittent fasting FTW

It never has anything to do with genes.

Fifteen Years ago I was bordering on obesity.

I.F. allows for reduced calories while having full hearty enjoyable foods and drink.

Another thing about soda and gassy beverages, they expand your stomach causing you to constantly feel hungry...

hence cutting them out will eventually see you being full on less food

You may look lean, because of your reduced caloric intake... but not necessarily, healthy.

Ah.... that's exactly what I'm talking about.... this is about NOT being obese, therefore, you 'eat less,' subsequently, you look lean...... but not eating the RIGHT & healthier option foods will take a toll on your organs after a while...

For instance, ever hear of someone getting a heart-attack and they look fit?

Everyone is "shocked" because that guy ALWAYS looked healthy... WRONG!

He was never healthy... cause he ate any and everything..... just far in-between... therefore, he never got fat... but too much of anything, salt, sugars, carbs, fats, even protein --too much of it (bad for the kidneys, I think), will have telltale consequences to the body at some point.....

Many lean folks have high cholesterol /hbp etc and falsely think by being lean that they are healthy and refuse to do physical checkups. cool

Good for you, man. I was being general, for the most part.

You just can't, '...eat and drink whatever I want. As much as I want. Whenever I want..." and be healthy... something doesn't add-up there.

You probably missed the part about intermittent fasting then.

Another thing people have to be careful of, is alcohol. It's possible to do everything right but overindulge in alcohol. With alcohol, (beer specifically) you are getting a double whammy, calories and alcohol.

This is my guide I follow....

A calorie is simply a measurement of energy — the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a gram of water by 1 degree Celsius, according to the National Center for Biotechnology Information

To determine how many calories you need in a day. For a man, compute (9.99 x your weight in kilograms) + (6.25 x height in centimeters) - (4.92 x your age in years) + 5.

For a woman, compute (9.99 x your weight in kilograms) + (6.25 x your height in centimeters) - (4.92 x your age in years) - 161.

Based on the average weight of a 155-pound person, the research estimates you'll burn approximately 102 calories for each hour you sit at your desk

A person who weighs 125 pounds burns approximately 38 calories per hour sleeping

Sedentary adult women between the ages of 36 to 50 should consume roughly 1,800 calories per day to offset all the calories their bodies burn just carrying out normal functions.

Once you have an estimate of how many calories you burn in a day, you can then project how much you should eat to either maintain, lose, or gain weight.
