I just read the article in the Gleaner.

What concerns me is the poor quality of umpiring over the past couple years in every territory. Why did the umpire started play on time then went off after 5 overs. Competent umpires would have delayed the start to allow time for the pitch to get acceptably dry.

Poor umpiring is bad for our already struggling cricketers.

A huge black eye for the Jamaica Cricket Association.
1.Poor equipment
2.Poor communication
3.Poor umpiring.

Sadly we accept these things and just move on

Sadly so.

With respect to poor umpiring, we now have Joe Wilson, and only GOD knows how he got in the elite panel, disgracing the region in SA.
