What is a good average to be considered for selection?
In reply to Yamfoot
Any average Bajan.
Last year's PCL
Vishal Singh, 29 years old, eight FC tons, overall average of 34 - last season, 539 runs @ ave of 49
Shamarh Brooks, 30 years old, five FC tons, overall average of 33 - last season, 632 runs @ ave of 48.61
I think Cheesy edges it slightly in my book....
In contrast, here's the guy making his Test debut for South Africa today. Hamza, Nine hundreds and an average of 49.30 in FC cricket for the 23-year-old.
