Pakistan bowling has been unlucky on this tour plus Yasir stunk up the joint.

Is he only effective on turning tracks? IF so They have to play him selectively

Warney is miles and miles ahead of these guys.

What a collapse in the best batting track all series.

Mikey and the other commies said it was a batter's paradise.

Mikey, will be interesting how Elgar skippers his side with a small first inning total. Plus he has no spinner to capitalize on the fourth inning. Interesting times ahead for him.

I can't help feeling it might have been an error to omit Maharaj....

Agreed!!!!

But great fight back by Pakistan.

In this series they missed a trick or two. And Yasir didn’t bring anything to the table. Hence they were effectively handicapped with 3 bowlers.

Wickets galore from the 4th onward.

My highlight was seeing and hearing Big Easy,Ernie Els in the commentator's booth.
Big cricket fan.

Sylvester Clarke and Kallicharran got mentioned among the players he liked. Most others were South Africans.....Pollock, et al.

wowowowowow

Philander to Azhar Ali, OUT, another for Philander! Jumps up at Azhar in the corridor and takes a proper bit of the outside edge this time! QDK lunges to his right and takes it. Marginal shape away from Philander. Starts at off, moves into the channel. Azhar defends with an open face and is gone first ball

Azhar Ali c †de Kock b Philander 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

When half your tests are played at home you need a guy who can bowl well in home conditions. Philander does that job for South Africa.
cool
Olivier's not bad at home too...he takes two in an over! Nightwatchman Abbas out for 11, and Shafiq for a duck.

Philander gets his third! Imam out for 43....

Pakistan 111-5 at lunch.

Babar 41*
Sarfraz 8*

If you show Philander and ask a question "spot the home team"..

Wow, some folks are still reeling from the 2-1 beating Philander dished out to India a year ago....

Philander topped the bowling stats in the Freedom Trophy
big grin
I guess the pain is still there....

Don't feel so bad. South Africa has won every series at home for a while now.

Rabada gets in on the act. Sarfraz gets 50 and out....

Olivier gets his third! Babar out for 49....

Two in two! Faheem out to Olivier for a duck.
