Senate Majority Repub = No Impeachment of Trump

problemjay 2019-01-11 14:16:56

Some man in here will cry long tears when they realize later in the year that Trump will not be impeached because most Senate majority Republican will dismiss any shit like that from the Democractic majority house. In the end Trump will be campaigning for a second term

Dude, Dems are not stupid, they are NOT going to try to impeach Trump before the Mueller investigation is complete.

And, when the investigation is complete, Repubs will vote to impeach Trump.

Wait until the real facts hit them.

Republicans were behaving and reacting like that during the drive to impeach Nixon. That was until the Dam of Facts broke, and the electorate recognized what a crook he was.

Mueller isn’t spending all this time investigating Trump his crime family to have only a slap on his wrists.

All those Republicans seeking re-election in 2020 will have to answer to their behaviour, if not their votes.

Mayor Bloomberg on running for president

"I ran three times. I used only my own money so I didn’t have to ask anybody what they wanted in return for a contribution."

Unlike the clown who is indebted to the Mercers, Koch bros and Rushyans lol

If a GOP Rep or senator doesn't publicly back Trump, do they get accused of being RINOs and get booted out (even at the primary stage)? I wonder what the distribution was of GOP people winning seats that backed or avoided supporting Trump.

Every rep or senator Trump capping for in the mid terms won their seats because he gave them momentum. The ones who did not suffer blows on election day. Its Trump momentum that help Republicans make gains in the Senate races

Hillary shouldn't even be mentioned in this discussion. She had the entire mainstream media on her side, she had billionaire investors on her side, she had social media on her side and she still lost/ Trump strategy of targeting the swing states and not going after the popular vote outsmarted her and her team.

This a blatant flat out LIE !!!!!!!

Off the top of my head he campaigned for senators in Nevada and Arizona and both losttttt

You may need to know that impeachment takes place in the House

But it means little unless voted by two thirds of the senate to convict.

POINT 2019-01-11 22:16:44

The Point is, pardon the pun ,
before WE get to impeachment there will be Hearings regarding Impeaching
Trump .

NOW IT IS VERY POSSIBLE IN THOSE

HEARINGS ; THERE MAYBE SUBSTANTIAL

EVIDENCE , ELICITED FROM VARIOUS

PERSONS , THAT WOULD BE SO DAMNING

THAT THOSE IN FAVOUR OF IMPEACHMENT

WILL LIKELY SWAY ENOUGH MEMBERS TO

VOTE FOR IMPEACHMENT .

Now it is very likely that this
Impeachment Hearing will sway some
Republicans , seeking Reelection in
2020 , to vote for Impeachment to save their Seats .

In addition , Public Sentiment may also be swayed by the Evidence that
Mueller et al Produce . Obviously this will put pressure on those Republicans wavering and having doubts about Trump .

Do not forget the fact that Trump is
not known to be always telling the
Truth . In fact Trump has been more
untruthful than Truthful throughout
his Life , and that aint a Figment of My Imagination .

Make absolutely no mistake Trump's
Fate will be judged by the various
evidences produced by various Investigations .

NITRO et al seem to think that it is
just One Investigation . Let me remind Nitro et al , this freaking
Fact .

THERE ARE SEVERAL INVESTIGATIONS

REGARDING TRUMP IT AINT ONLY THE

MUELLER INVESTIGATION THAT TRUMP IS

A POTENTIAL TARGET ; THE HOUSE OF

REPRESENTATIVES IS GOING TO HAVE

PUBLIC HEARINGS ; THE ATTORNEY

GENERAL OF NEW YORK IS GOING TO LOOK

INTO TRUMP'S FINANCES , ALSO OTHER

ATTORNEY GENERALS LIKE SHARK SEE

BLOOD IN THE WATER , BTW , SOME

OF THESE HEARINGS ARE GOING TO BE

OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC .

OBVIOUSLY PUBLIC SENTIMENT ,

MEASURED BY POLLS ARE GOING TO PLAY

AN IMPORTANT FACTOR , ESPECIALLY

WHEN THOSE HEARINGS ARE PUBLIC .

I cite the above so that those who
believe or think that Trump is out
of the Woods , are Living in a Fool's Paradise .

Quite true. Cannot refute what you say.
POINT is, the Republicans are standing solidly as one to defend/support their guy in spite of everything that has been going on.
Doubt that will change to get 2/3 rds of Senate to convict.

The idea of criminal charges came up but the statute of limitation would have expired by the time he leaves office. Unless Mueller files charges which are sealed then he can be prosecuted after his term ends.

At least, that's my understanding of potential tracks.

Best scenario he resigns, better he is impeached and kicked out, good he is tied up in investigations aka lame duck cool

In reply to goofballs

The Members of the Republican Party
are in a precarious position .

ONE THING THAT HAS ESCAPED THE

BLOWHARDS IN THIS FORUM IS THIS ;

IN 2020 THE REPUBLICANS HAVE TO

DEFEND MORE OF THEIR SEATS THAN THE

MEMBERS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY .

IN 2018 IT WAS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY

THAT HAD TO DEFEND MORE SEATS THAN

THE REPUBLICANS .

Obviously if the Revelations of
the Russian Saga turn out to be true
and then it turns out that Trump underpaid , or did not pay Taxes the
Republicans are going to lose Seats
in Congress , obviously making Impeachment a " Walk in the Park " .

THE QUESTION THAT WILL BE ASKED IS

THIS : WHY IS TRUMP SO DEFERENTIAL

TO THE RUSSIANS ??????

THE VARIOUS HEARINGS WILL ENLIGHTEN

ALL OF US . INTERESTINGLY , ALL WILL

BE REVEALED AROUND THE MIDDLE OF

THIS YEAR JUST WHEN THE 2020 GENERAL

ELECTIONS ARE GOING TO START HEATING

UP .

If what is revealed damages Trump ,
automatically it will damage the
Republican Party , that has hitched
their Wagons to Trump . Obviously if
everything goes South for Trump , it will also go South for the Republican Party .

Paul Ryan saw the Writing on the Wall , and so He has abandoned the
Ship by jumping overboard . Make no
mistake , there are others who likely will abandoned Trump's Ship .

goofballs 2019-01-11 23:09:57

In reply to POINT

Well, hope they use common sense and logic and pull a Charrandass and don't vote solely along Republican party lines.

POINT 2019-01-11 23:10:10

I am not a Seer , however I believe that Paul Ryan is going to go to Wall
Street and get a Cushy Job there , it
is quite possible that he may be getting a Pension from being in the
House of Representative .

THAT IS KNOWN AS FEATHERING ONE'S NEST

An art practised by many Politicians
regardless of their Party Affiliation.

I REALLY BELIEVED THAT PAUL RYAN HAD

INTEGRITY , IT TURNS OUT THAT HE HAS

ABSOLUTELY NONE .
