Campbell, he has done as much as Chandrika did when he was selected which could mean that the same results could be coming.

Campbell is an opener. If you look at the squad, only two are selected so he automatically plays.
A middle order batsman will have to sit chase/bravo/hope/hetmyer

Brooks usually bats at number3 so he should be able to open, as was witnessed in the practice game Campbell is not ready

In announcing the team Brownie said Campbell will open.

camos 2019-01-17 10:10:39

statistically there is no difference among the choices.

Spoilt101 2019-01-17 10:17:16

Very unlikely Brooks will play his best chance is the third test because even if one of the more likely top 4 of bravo, hope, hetmyer or Chase fail in the first test they more than likely will get a second chance.
But with the west Indies board you just never knows.

Kraig averages about 5 runs for per match for the last two tours, why was he even picked?

If Powell's run is any indicator of the selectors patience Paint will be around for 4 more tours!

Well I am not only accessing him only by that last match his F/C seasons for the last two years have been ordinary. However it seems like the Selectors have the opinion that Hemraj, Blackwood. Ambris and Singh are not ready as none are in Test squad.

Why select Darren Bravo and NOT play him?

2 reasons:

1 - Injured or sick
2 - Vindictiveness

In reply to imusic

Vindictiveness
give him the big build up and then get him to bring out the drinks....dave cameron?
