In reply to nitro
Cement their dominance in what exactly???
In reply to Jamstar
Track and Field.
The sprints are ours again as Jamaica's fluke period of dominance is over!
In reply to nitro
Jamaica dominated the sprints for an entire decade with several different athletes. That was hardly a fluke.
On the female side of things the dominate sprinters for the last year and half have been from the Ivory Coasthttps://www.iaaf.org/records/toplists/sprints/100-metres/outdoor/women/senior/2018?regionType=world&timing=electronic&windReading=regular&page=1&bestResultsOnly=true
Added to that Shelly and Elaine are both back and looking good.
The Americans have a whole heap a ass kicking fi get
In reply to Jamstar
Please, three athletes. Bolt, Shelly-Ann and VCB.
In reply to nitro
Other WC or OLY gold medal winners during this period include Blake, McLeod, Thompson, Williams, Foster and Walker.
Could go into the other medal winners like Simpson, Weir, Powell etc etc etc etc etc
Please STFU.
In reply to JahJah
Is like him never know ELaine is still the reigning double Olympic champion.
Blake is still the youngest World Champion ever.
In reply to JahJah and Jamster
It seems nitro is a part-time athletics fan...only follows the men's 100m.
Track and field also includes field events...Freddy Dacres dominated the men's shot putt last year, and he won the Diamond League in that event, convincingly beating every rival.
At Karlsruhe indoor meet yesterday....
Donald Thomas (Bah) came third in the men's high jump with a leap of 2.26.
Gayon Evans (Jca) sixth in her heat of the women's 60m in 7.40.
