Bernie for president.

Too old.
I don't think Bernie is going to be much of a factor this time around. A lot of Democrats have co-opted his policies.
Bernie and the people that have adopted his policies are going to have a hard time getting the Democratic nomination.

Old Biden is the man

Beto is the man.
Not this time Bernie. You dont have my support.
I am not supporting anyone at this time, but 2nd time Bernie would not get my support in any case.

Bernie is the ticket.
Progressives will finally have their say when Bernie Sanders becomes POTUS in 2020.

Warren and Harris are going to take votes away from Bernie. He is not going to be much of a factor this Year.

Of the current field who do you see as the frontrunner?
However it shakes out I don't think the Democratic Party wants a repeat of 2016 where Bernie supporters were so angry with how the nomination process turned out they didn't want to show up at the polls on election day.
Mind you last time out there were only two main contenders for the nomination from early days; this time out with a bigger field you're undoubtably going to have a bigger tussle for votes in the primaries.
Trump should thank Bernie

Too early to tell.
Candidates with more name recognition are still to come.
Bernie wont win the nomination but he has already factored big in US politics by forcing both parties to think of more progressive policies.
Democrats are requiring candidates running for office to register as Democrats.
1) Bernie's age will hurt him. Not sure why he is in the race to take up donor money that could be used for more viable candidates. He has done his job by putting his issues on the agenda. He is not angling for VP like other candidates.
2) He is also associated with one of the most painful days in recent history for many American dems. Dems don't want anything that resembles 2016 elections for this new round.

That is a pretty good summary.
Weekend at Bernies .... aptly sums him up
