Golfers... anyone ever played @ Torrey Pines Golf Course??

Fantastic & picturesque G.C.

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to play at this famous course last week. If you ever get a chance to do so... I highly recommend it.

I was in San Diego a few years ago and I wanted to play it but I didn’t want to with rented clubs given it’s one of the top courses on the pga tour. Hope you had a good round.

BTW: How does it compare with Douglaston in Queens?

For me, it's always worth playing a round with rental clubs than NOT playing.

HAHA. no comparisons, of course. Based on where I work in Long Island, Bethpage G.C has been more of my home course for the past 10 years now.

Did u see those green fees? I would have to take out a second mortgage plus a line of credit to play there..

And even if I was able to somehow invest that much in green fees, on top of that it would be a 3 ball minimum on each hole, to make sure I get my full moneys worth. Then I could say I played Tory Pines 3 times all be it in 1 round.
