If you can play Nurse without concerns about his weight and sloppiness then you can play Cornwall.
I mean at worse, he wont drop 3 catches and he is a much cleaver bowler

NURSE VS CORNWALL
In reply to Emir
It's only one game, let's see what adjustments are made next game
In reply to dayne
Adjustments should be it no Nurse and Bishoo or either one.
We bowling just ain't up to scratch. Really thought we would of had a better showing. But we showed why we rank #9
In reply to Emir
Nurse is way better than Carlos,I used to give him hell but he is OK.
In reply to camos
He is performing better with the bat, but his bowling is what is needed and we need a spinner who can take wickets, Nurse is not the man.
In reply to Emir
Nurse has better bowling than Carlos!
In reply to Emir
Fair to question Nurse's bowling but quite silly of you to pick on his fielding of his "weight" or dropped catches. Nurse has been in ODI squad for years and has been a reliable catcher and ground fielder.
In reply to camos
But Carlos isn't the benchmark. In fact he is also walking on thin ice but Nurse's inclusion cannot be justified by your assumption that he is better than Carlos
In reply to Logic
Yes, but his apparent weight gain is perhaps the reason for the inexcusable 3 drop catches and the unacceptable sloppy fielding yesterday.
I also mentioned his weight because he was being compared to Cornwall and the argument against Cornwall has been his weight, so it is relevant.
Our bowling was fine during the test series, I think we should stick to that blueprint. With Roach, Gabriel and AlJo missing what we expect.
And yes, CORNWALL is the best spinning all-rounder in the region!
In reply to Emir
What weight gain? Please share. Ridiculous to compare Nurse to Cornwall. I can make a case out for Cornwall's conclusion, but you cannot deny that Cornwall is a handicap outside of the slips. Can you imagine a team with Gayle and Cornwall in the outfield. Nurse is speedy across the ground and between wickets. Is weight is not an obvious handicap. Cornwall's is.
In reply to Logic
And Gayle's isn't. So Play Cornwall for Gayle.
In reply to Logic
Well in fact we did yesterday with Gayle and Nurse- did you see the entire match? Nurse was horrible- he could hardly stop the ball and I can'imagine Cornwall doing any worse.
This shouldn't even be ah debate..
Cornwall ahead of Nurse, Bishoo any day
De crap that he gonna be a liability in the field is nonsense the man won't do wore than Thomas, Gayle or Nurse
In reply to anthonyp
Exactly, it is unfair to presume how he will perform without even giving him a chance.
He is a good bowler, we tried Davendra and Ashley and they both have been unable to take wickets consistently. And since Narine seems out of the picture, then Rakheem needs to get a chance.

Nurse had a bad day. Have you seen him remotely that bad in his ground fielding and catching before? I would drop Nurse because we need wicket taking bowlers but you are delusional comparing his fielding deficiencies to Cornwall's challenge. I cant play Cornwall with Gayle in the squad so until Gayle is retired, we need to look for an alternative.
There is no comparison between Nurse and Cornwall. Cornwall is simply twice as good in every way!
Cornwall 3 times as good as Bishoo as a batsman and bowler. Bishoo can run faster than Cornwall.
In reply to solidrock
I agree, as batsman and bowler, Cornwall is better player, but I cant see scenario where you can have both him and Gayle on field at same time.
In reply to Logic
By your logic, you "can't seem to have him and Gayle in the same team" but you have no problems with Nurse and Gayle in the same team, that is illogical.
The biggest difference between Cornwall and Nurse, despite both struggling with weight issues, is:
ASHLEY NURSE IS COURTNEY BROWNE'S COUSIN
So there is no point debating this, whilst Courtney Browne remains Chairman of Selectors and is literally "picking family".
Oh Shyt!
