Tricky Dick Pybus Large and in Charge

What happened to the great organization and planning? How did his organization and planning help today? Doosie? natty-in-perpetuity?

How come he could not inspire Gayle and the lads to more than 40-odd runs?

Boss this thread is not about the Tricky One. It's about those who were about to anoint him the second coming after we played well at home against a team that we always play well against at home cool Well the second coming might be an exaggeration, but we need to wait and see how we play India later this year and how we battle away from home.

natty_forever 2019-03-08 19:11:54

True, but that should not be a problem for our miracle coach smile

Why are you minimizing the only format that we have been good at for the past 6 years? smile

Maybe the Test and one day was left overs from the Law era and now we seeing the true Pybus effect!

Walco 2019-03-08 19:34:17

In reply to pariaman

The improvement in ODIs started before Pybus for sure. We played well in India last year even without Gayle.

natty_forever 2019-03-08 19:34:38

In reply to Walco how good have we been since our last World cup win. However, sorry the test series and ODI series was not to your liking. Which we have been terrible in.

natty_forever 2019-03-08 19:35:41

In reply to Walco you keep harping this myth. We did not play well in India, we were thrashed!

pariaman 2019-03-08 19:38:30

In reply to Walco

We were also not bad in the Sri Lanka and Bangladesh tours

Watch Pybus reverse that trend and bring us down to zero

As the Head Coach he must have been the main one behind that stupid decision to play the One Day Squad in the T20 series

We were trashed in the tests, but I am referring to improvement in ODis. We lost the ODI series in India 3-1. We tied one ODI while scoring 321 and scored 322 in another ODI that we lost. This happened after we struggled to qualify for the WC against minnows in Zimbabwe. Tek off yuh blinders nuh man ...

However, sorry the test series and ODI series was not to your liking. Which we have been terrible in.

Utter foolishness yuh chatting natty. I actually flew to Barbados and watched the first Test. Di fowl in mi yaad bleed maroon and cluck a mean David Rudder natty smile

I am not a Pybus fan but I hope you are wrong. I'm expecting that Pybus will be replaced by a local coach after India tours the Caribbean following the WC. But if we beat India at home Pybus will have earned the permanent job. Big if though ...

That decision to play the full ODI Squad was a dotish decision and as Head coach Pybus must be responsible . I am sure some of the players who played in both test and ODI would have wanted a rest

But we all know he is not really considerate of the players!

The coach usually has a lot of influence in team selection, so Pybus was definitely on board with that decision. We have gone from off-field team building exercises to on-field team building exercises.

But we all know he is not really considerate of the players!

Mr. West Indies First (Pybus) is now Mr Win 2019 WC at Any Cost. CHG (Mr. West Indies Not First) is now a favorite of Mr. West Indies First. Wat a ting smile

natty_forever 2019-03-09 11:58:20

In reply to Walco... and we tied the ODI series with the #1 side. Suh what exactly you saying. How convenient you now crying over T20 loses.

natty_forever 2019-03-09 11:58:52

We experimenting.

natty_forever 2019-03-09 12:00:02

In reply to Walco dont tell me you weigh these loses heavier than a 2-1 series win?
