YES! t20 as we know it will be dead in 5 years or less.

It will evolve into something even more attractive to paying spectators.

T10... or The 100 or whatever the ECB are calling it. Maybe making it 7-a-side on top of it all.

change test cricket to 70 overs per day with 7 men per side

maj 2019-03-11 14:58:00

Make test cricket 4 days..each team bats for two innings. 1/2 inning per day.

Day 1..team 1 80 overs or all out

Day 2..team 2 80 overs or all out

Second inning..repeat.

If you don't bowl 80 overs you only bat what you have bowled.

Result everytime.

Whether it be T20, T10 or T5, the international games will only attract spectators if the well known stars are playing.

It is the attraction of big names that make it an event. So those cricketers who want to play the fast food version, will first have to establish their names and reputations in regular cricket. In fact almost all the great ODI and T20 players have been good or great First Class or test players.

T10 or whatever you want to call it will be the next cash cow.

They'll be fitting two matches in per day.

Test cricket is fine, ODI Cricket however, is in trouble. I can see the ICC reducing the format to 40-45 overs per-innings.

i would never go sit and watch cricket all day unless i am old and have nothing else to do

T20 is here to stay forever
