and the Darren Bravo Incident in my
opinion are proof of this freaking Fact.

In the Bible WE are admonished not to Pour: "NEW WINE IN OLD BOTTLES ".

This is precisely why any New Structure of the WICBC & the Regional
Boards , must not have those currently
occupying those Boards .

To use a Caribbean expression " THEY
ARE TOO SET IN THEIR WAYS "; and You simply cannot teach Old Dogs New Tricks .

It therefore makes absolutely no sense having those steeped in the
current Structure being Officials in
a New Structure .

My perspective is that there must
harmonious Relations between those who govern and those who Play Cricket .

I firmly believe that the Gulf between those who govern & those who play the game is one of the main Flaws in West Indies Cricket .

Like their predecessors those in the
governance of Cricket in the Region
relish behaving like those who formed the WICBC 90 + years ago , who were Land Owners , Business Men etc.

Indelibly etched in my mind is the
big debate , that was had regarding
making Frank Worrell the first Black
Captain of the West Indies Cricket Team .

I cite this to illustrate the fact that the WICBC was of the view
that No Black person should be the
Captain of the West Indies Cricket
Team ; That was a position reserved
only for Persons of a different hue
than Frank Worrell .

Currently it aint about One's complexion , it is about those who govern think of themselves as being superior to the Players .

This B.S needs to be stopped , because it fosters & harbors decisions & Feelings that are anti
harmony , and disruptive to GoodWill
between those who govern & those who
play the Game .

WE HAVE TO HAVE HARMONY IN CRICKET

IN THE REGION . A HOUSE DIVIDED WILL

NEVER STAND ; BECAUSE IT IS BUILT ON

A SOLID FOUNDATION .

I would like to believe that if there
was Harmony between the WICBC & Our
Players what transpired in India would
not have occurred .

Also the matter regarding Darren Bravo
would also not have occurred .In essence having Harmony between the
WICBC & Our Players is a key component
to Our Players being fully competitive
in ALL Forms of Cricket . I seriously
do not believe that all those currently on the various Cricket Boards are willing to do this . So
they have to be removed .

Mr. Point make up your mind are you talking about facts, opinion or perspectives?

Let me answer what You have stated :

The Truth is that Cameron refused to
go to India to settle the matter , now
this aint a Nancy Story it is a freaking Fact . Cancelling the Tour,
which was in Progress was a very Rash
Decision , because the BCCI ; Hotels;
and Vendors lost a lot of money .

As the President of the WICBC it was incumbent on Cameron to correctly
ascertain what Level Contract Darren Bravo had ; As I stated in this Forum , What level Contract Bravo had was a trifling matter to
Cameron .

However it was not a Trifling matter to Bravo , who unfortunately called
Cameron a " Big Idiot ". As I have stated these two incidents aptly
demonstrates that Cameron lacks the
Skills & Temperament to be President
of the WICBC .
