successfully dispatched!!

What a milestone, what a productive and professional little country..

T&T’s 4000th LNG cargo is the latest achievement in the country’s participation in the global LNG and energy business. The country is currently among the world’s top 10 LNG producing countries. Employees of LNG production company Atlantic have also lent their expertise to help with start-up and commissioning activities of other LNG facilities in Australia, Angola and Azerbaijan.

Allyuh know how big a supertanker is??

Who cares, do you know how much money the treasury receives for such?

Are you aware that LNG sets its own price and not NGC?

Are you aware that such gas is shipped directly to LNG and monitored by LNG.

Are you aware that Repsol claimed to ship the Gas to Spain but was selling it in the Far East at higher prices, depriving the citizens of royalty and profits?

A doofus as you are cannot absorb such news.

Start the cussing?

lol lol

The National Gas Company (NGC) has also found itself in difficulties, referring to reports that NGC is no longer buying all of bpTT’s gas, although there is a shortfall of natural gas production and a demand for the commodity.

“The implication of what is not being said is that clearly, the pricing arrangement for the purchase of gas from bpTT and perhaps Shell as well, is that the purchase price is now putting the NGC in a difficult position with respect to the selling price of gas to the downstream users in Point Lisas.”

Oh plze, bravos. Don't be a simpleton! What you talking bout "a productive and professional little country..."? Trinidad has one of the highest poverty rates in the Caribbean... T&T has the the highest murder rate and the highest crime rate. Trinidad has what is called 'deceptively productive' economy. You are playing school boy cricket.

Shell take US$190m T&T impairment

ROYAL DUTCH Shell reported last week that it more than doubled the earnings of the segment of its business that includes T&T in its 2018 financial year. This was despite a US$190 million impairment charge on its T&T operation in the fourth quarter of last year (Q4 201cool.

An impairment charge is the write down of the value of an asset, known in accounting as goodwill. Goodwill is an intangible asset accountants include in balance sheets when trying to quantify competitive advantage, brand strength, reputation, high employee morale, and the like.

Impairment charge is entered as an expense in the profit & loss account. The carrying amount of the asset is reduced by the impairment amount. This reduces the company's net worth or book value. The net profit, too, is adversely affected in the year the charge is made.
T&T loses.
