powen001 2019-03-18 20:44:34

The Shenanigans have been back firing.

I smiled and said...wait for the votes... dont mind the noise...and ole talk... these men are literally eating each other at this stage..

ah wonder what so sweet bout the CWI??

Here is my prediction for the MB response.

....

and the usual suspects will still cuss cause not one fartina will change...

I will remain focused on the boys improving and winning...

When I see a Major overhaul of the culture...yes even if incrementally then, perhaps ( lol)will I believe any ting will change.

I am reminded of a very well known
West Indian Adage that is very appropriate here :

" THE HIGHER MONKEY CLIMB THE MORE HE

EXPOSES HIMSELF ". I BELIEVE THAT

THIS IS VERY APPROPRIATE HERE .

HE CAN SEEK SOLACE IN THE FACT

THE USA PRESIDENT IS IN THAT SAME

PREDICAMENT ,HOWEVER THATS LIFE

Answer this...
for Garner to be doing that:
A. Garner is kneeling
B. Powen is standing instead of sitting on a fence
C. all of the above razz

How comes you guys claim that the personable Powen is a fence sitter?

He's more wishy washy if you ask me.

First he was totally anti-Big IDIOT, then he was all for the Big IDIOT after a reported meeting between the two.

Now he is back to his original position. Man acting more like one of those people whose prerogative it is to change their minds.

but in any event...let the chips fall..

I dont expect any material changes short of a Major announcement of DRASTIC Admin Changes and adoption of reports ( PLURAL) findings.

A man told me at cricket last Wednesday that a lot of people don't understand Cameron and when the dust is settled they'll appreciate what he is doing. He tells me Cameron is very strategic and people must be patient and see the big picture; the long game.

There is merit here and the irony is that I came to understand him even though I dont agree with his methods in every instance.

Cameron chooses to be brash
he chooses to be indignant and arrogant and dismissive but make no mistake he is as smart as a tack and very very focused on what he wants.

BUT while

I understand he is focused on his goal- the long game but I cannot agree with the apparent preference to be combative or blatantly political.

Here is the pause I have... (within context)To actually get things done, hard decisions , unpopular decisions have to be made.

I think we all agree that Windies Cricket has been in a very sorry state for over 20 years now.

Tell Skeritt if he wins, make sure that Yardies do not languish in test wilderness like under Cameron administration or he will be a one term President.

That programme was like March in Canada: "Comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." The hosts seemed to back off significantly as the programme wore on.

carsbry 2019-03-21 07:39:53

The problem is not Cameron. The problem is at home with the territorial boards. Our individual boards must address the administration of cricket in their individual territory. Cameron does not elect himself and the prime minister who are unable or unwilling to address the administration of cricket administration of cricket in their territories are calling for Cameron's Head.

To the prime minister who are demanding change, please address the cricket administration issues in your territory. This would help the individual boards to make better decisions.

agreed!

BUT Camerons Style and shenanigans are not going to get a sign off from me..

Its deeper than Camerons abrasive style and vindictiveness....he has to pay...

I want more...I want the SYSTEMIC issues addressed and to sound like POINT...the bloody material things from all those reports IMPLEMENTED!!

So if I understand correctly

You admire cameron’s smarts, think he’s an astute politician, makes hard decisions that need to be made, and admiire his long term vision.

At the same time, you don’t care for some of his methods and his brash nature. You also demand change

Summary....if Cameron remains President, you’re happy with that. If he loses the election you’re happy with that.

Seems like THE poster child for fence sitting to me. cool

You understood INCORRRECTLY.

with 3 Rs

Observing someones approach...does not equate to admiration...first error.

Understanding HOW that person operates does not equate to admiration.

You end up in wrong...

you want to try again?
