Did you even bother looking up the meaning before posting that drivel?
Or you continue to convince yourself that whatever pops into your mind is gold?
In reply to Ayenmol
Did you even bother to read what you posted.
In reply to black
Actually yes...Socialism is characterized by ownership....not dependability.
Learn the difference.
Now go fume some more...
In reply to Ayenmol
Now You're trying to mince words.
Does Governments play a part in socialism?

In the many years since socialismentered English around 1830, it has acquired several different meanings. It refers to a system of social organization in which private property and the distribution of income are subject to social control, but the conception of that control has varied, and the term has been interpreted in widely diverging ways, ranging from statist to libertarian, from Marxist to liberal. In the modern era, "pure" socialism has been seen only rarely and usually briefly in a few Communist regimes. Far more common are systems of social democracy, now often referred to as democratic socialism, in which extensive state regulation, with limited state ownership, has been employed by democratically elected governments (as in Sweden and Denmark) in the belief that it produces a fair distribution of income without impairing economic growth.

I would have just asked you how that equates to your lead post....
Instead i will just let the above stand.

Definition of income
1 : a coming in : ENTRANCE, INFLUX
fluctuations in the nutrient income of a body of water
2 : a gain or recurrent benefit usually measured in money that derives from capital or labor
Just in case.
socialism is always good when you get other people's wealth
try sharing the wealth of the elites ... they hide it away ..... yet they are the ones pushing socialism

You know your behavior is what some would consider to be weird, right?
Do you have friends outside of the kingdom?
In reply to black
Am weird because i debunk your drivel in a single post?
Come to think of it, you may be right. Since i am the only person who tells it like it is to all comers...that is weird for this board.
Most of you scared to disagre with your "friends".
If i describe friend as ...
In reply to Ayenmol
Do you have friends other than bible friends?
In reply to black
I am not looking for friends here.
Whether am ganged up on, bullied, intimidated or anything else.
I will continue to disagree with the disagreeable and agree with the agreeable.
I will not give up my Faith, my reasonning, my ethics, my love, my respect, my peace, my selfcontol, kindness goodnes joy, mildness to get a laugh or an ataboy from anyone.
Your appeal to friendship is baseless.
Cc.com has not and will not make me.
Nor will it ever break me.
Carry on smartly.
Fire burn the weak minded.

Shiet ill take some free money everybody else taking..
In reply to black
Notice how you cannot dispute what i say...just make so e silly comment and point to where i disagree with you without pointing out any issue am wrong about....you like a puppy chasing it's tail.
Was'nt that phrase...get help before it is too late... batquake response to you all that you claimed he was judging you and elevating himself above you.
Now here we are.
You all have tried all tactics there are to silence me.
Still you press on thrusting humiliation aside.

What is there to dispute? Others have used socialism in the same and you have not disputed it. This reminds me of Nick trying to tell me what capitalism is.
By your definition, Norway do not meet that criteria either.
Was'nt that phrase...get help before it is too late... batquake response to you all that you claimed he was judging you and elevating himself above you.
This is serious shit, not that bible BS.
In reply to black
Am not picking on you. I posted the definition of socialism from Wikipedia...you posted one from Miriam-Webster.
They both are completely opposite your post!
Dispute that rather than attack me.
This is serious shit, not that bible BS.
So serious that you post without a clue of what you are talking about?
Have fun with your serious approach...let me know how your presentation to the Norwegian Government turns out...or to the American Government who is replacing workers with robots.
In reply to Ayenmol
No, they are not.
The one I posted, clearly stated that the definition has changed over the years.
To most people, if it's not complete capitalism, it is some sort of socialism.
Why are you being so difficult?
In reply to black
Not one of those definitions support your drivel.
Of course Wikipedia supports the current understanding more so than Webster's but that does not occur to you!
Let me know how it turns.
In reply to Ayenmol
So what?
Is Wikipedia gospel now?
Here, let me break down how i came to describe you...
STATEMENT:
Basis for STATEMENT:
Automation is a capitalist driven strategy.
Dependence on the Government for food or other needs is not a definition of Socialism.
Every system of Government requires governance that includes providing for Citizens.
Direct dependence with no work done to EARN the money is not a construct of socialism in any form!
In reply to black
Wait, are we back to the Bible again?
Or you just love to lash out when cornered?
Funny that you using the Bible as a weight to measure authenticity.
In reply to Ayenmol
Don't get excited, it's just a figure of speech.
In reply to black
There are reasons they are accepted figures of speech...
But, why are you now digressing from the serious issue?
How do you know what form this is going take?
We are not at that point yet.
In reply to Ayenmol
But, why are you now digressing from the serious issue?
Dude, you are the one that is making a big deal of me using the term
In reply to black
Bye felicia ...
In reply to Ayenmol
The problem with you and Nick is, in your desire to prove me wrong, you quickly jump to conclusions.
In reply to Ayenmol
You are a fake Christian with anger problems.
You are not fooling me, I knew who you were from day one.
In reply to Ayenmol
I agree that automation is driven by capitalist notions.
I wonder though, what happens if automation reaches a point where human labour is by and large unneeded.
Do we reach that Star-Trek like scenario where working for money is no longer a thing?
(Disclaimer: I don't see this anytime soon in any event, we humans can't agree on anything and are willing to fight and kill instead of finding a middle ground)
In reply to Tryangle
Maybe someone will use the gauntlet.
In reply to Ayenmol
I said it before that you are a bully.
Some are beginning to see the light.
In reply to black
How do i bully you?
Or we going by schoolyard rules..he who says it first is right?
Waste of time....bye felicia!

Sigh.
In reply to black
You remember the time Snoop pointed out he corrected you first. You never admitted you were wrong about me pointing it out first.
In reply to Ayenmol
Bullying is a sign of sort of underlying problem.
Are you having issues at home?
Too many doors slammed in your face?
Get help!!!
In reply to nick2020
You remember the time Snoop pointed out he corrected you first. You never admitted you were wrong about me pointing it out first.
That is because I thought he was referring to something else (your capitalist ranting).
I went back and read what he said and it was just a rebuttal to the normal debate.
I didn't have a problem with what he said and said so.
So, is "welfare" or "dole" or "social security" capitalist or socialist?
And, can a government produce wealth?
In reply to black
Many Americans feeding off the tits of socialism don't even recognize that they are Socialists. They may claim to believe in capitalism but are increasingly getting none of its benefits.
Those poor farmers under flood in Nebraska may believe in capitalism, but only a good dose of socialism will help them to survive Climate Change.
In reply to Casper
Even simple entities such as home owners associations are essentially socialist, in that economic resources are pooled for the common good.
Many US farmers form co-ops to finance jointly-owned mills, processing plants, etc. Credit unions raise capital from their own membership only.
So, "socialism" is already being practiced, legally and freely, within "capitalism" as it is. Inevitably, economic practices will have to become more socialist to accommodate both political views and the economic independence of the working classes.
The rich classes continue to display their moral weaknesses, the university admission scandal being the latest, which will push political thinking more and more towards rule by the working classes.
