Tell Mia to follow NZ's lead...

Those fishing boats should be searched.

They are allegedly bringing to shore more than fish.

Why is bail offered to murder accusers, a guy is walking the street in Barbados for almost 5 years, after murdering his wife.
His wife, is so close is like extended family.

Attorney General Dale Marshall has vented his frustrations on the issue of bail being granted to persons accused of murder who secure release and then commit other heinous crimes.

“We have a problem with bail,” he declared to the House of Assembly this evening as the Chamber continued debate on the Appropriations Bill 2019.

Don't you need to be convicted to be called "guilty" of murdering your wife?

I think we have to understand that to be denied bail is to be presumed guilty.

Do you see the problem is not so simple? If a woman accused you of raping her do we lock you up and deny you bail? Can't have you raping other women.

He is accuse, not convicted
Why is he out on bail, 5 years later.

I think we have to understand that to be denied bail is to be presumed guilty.

Murder accuse should be detained until the case is heard.
Why should an accuse walked the street 5 years later, after getting bail?

Because people are not getting a trial in a timely manner. The system is failing.

Murder accuse should be detained until the case is heard.

Simply because they have been accused of murder? Nothing more? I do not think you under why this is not right.

Why should an accuse walked the street 5 years later, after getting bail?

Maybe one day you or someone close to you will be accused and you will be fine having freedom taken away simple because of an accusation. Human failing never ceases to amaze me. When we aren't in the situation we have little understanding and tolerance.

Dude, I sat next to a boy at school from 4 years to 8 years, that kid spent numerous years at Dodge and then Glendairy, he was hung for a murder he did not commit, so I understand both sides.

All I am saying is
1: a person charge of murder, should not be given bail.
2 Why after 6-7 years the accuse is not tried for the murder, he is charge with.
The families want closer to their love ones death.

1. Simply because it is a murder charge?
2. Agreed. Barbados judicial system has issues.
