except i have no political philosophy and need to have some grounding before i decide to run in Bim
i believe the welfare state we have in Bim has served its purpose and there needs to be a claw back but to what extent
i believe in law and order but not at the expense of the poor and vulnerable
i believe children should be taught civic responsibility but not to the level of indoctrination
i believe in the separation of church and state but a society must be held together by something
i believe in freedom of speech but not when it is injurious to people
i believe in free movement of people across the Caribbean but i dont want Bim to be overwhelmed
i believe people should be taxed as little as possible but who is going to pay for public services

there are basic things i believe in:
i am not buying any votes
i will not give govt jobs to supporters but will tell them where to apply and support any effort to teach them how to interview for jobs
i am not stealing any money or steering money or govt contracts to family or friends -see above
i will legislate for the majority of the people and not for any special interest groups except where the law is to do with a certain type of persons
i dont need money so no one can buy my support
Yuh talking good fuh now.
In reply to sudden
you sounding like you serious
In reply to sudden
You do know, you must stand for something, to get votes
In reply to methodic
i am giving it serious thought but i have been on the advising side of the political spectrum and there is a vacuum in honest politics at the moment in Bim.
In reply to sudden
For a moment there I thought you said, "Throw the towel into the political ring".
My reaction then was, didn't he already do that along with his cronies during the last BIM general elections?
I believe you need to shut yuh rh mout....
no more selling of property in Bim to non WI except what is in foreign hands already
no more subdivision of agriculture lands unless unsold inventory is 50% depleted
all secondary schools must take up the TVEC curriculum
free uni only for specializations Bim needs- you pay otherwise
all Bim scholarships to be needs tested but outstanding students nationally recognised
Govt budget to be balanced after 5 years
reformation of the civil service towards serving the needs of the Bim public

Don't fall into the Trump trap.
You are making too many promises, someone is going to prevent you from doing all that.
In reply to sudden
For sure...especially since your government had to steal from creditors to support said welfare state.
