The middle order diversity leaves room to shuffle the order, for example, Hope and Simmons can open if needed.

I am also assuming Narine decides to return which means he is no longer fearful of his actions being discriminated against.

With the exception of Gabriel, the entire lower order can bat, so our batting is going to run deep, giving our bowlers cushion.

I will have the following in my reserve list for injuries

1. Campbell
2. Keemo Paaul
3. Oshane Thomas
4. Nic Pooran

Narine going nowhere. Get over it.

I suspect that will be the squad. If it was up to me I would take out Thomas and replace him with Rovman Powell. I dont think Russell can play all 9 games and if we win matches early we can rest Gayle and Russell.

Drapes, I did not even notice that. But reading some of the comments, I have to laugh, peeps accusing me of insular, cause they say I have 2 many trinis.

I find it amusing, as I select the best squad in my opinion.

Youngsters like Powell, Thomas, Allen not ready and their turn will come.

I can possibly entertain Keemo Paul sneaking in ahead of Gabriel, but that is about it.

This team can bring home the WC.

after the last series it would be criminal if he doesnt play

every team in the world wants a left arm pacer and we have a pretty good one in cottrell

I fear that the injury that just occurred in the IPL will more than likely keep him out of the 15. It seems pretty serious. If not, I'd be okay with him replacing Gabriel in the 15. Their List A and ODI stats are pretty similar. Plus AlJo is a much better fielder and batsman than Shannon.

Keemo Paul better get oicked. Moving that ball in and off the pitch a f in the air will be key in English conditions. After watching him do so in less swing friendly conditions at home imagine in Pommieland. Plus he is no slouch with the bat
