He is the finisher.
The pair before didn't get out for 5 overs and 50 runs to sacrifice themselves for some batting for Pollard. How dare they?

Would love to read some of the answers......these is some of the same people that does cuss pollard black and blue yuh hear...............Caribbean people.........sweet fuh days wid dey stupidness.......in the CPL these same people does be angling fuh dem homeboys in the various franchises......the indians doing the same thing and dem gotting pains....just sain...

Its the INDIAN Premier League after all, if they wanna develop Indian players above foreign can't blame them.
Ent we does cuss out when we see local guys sitting or being held back during the CPL for foreign players.

Certain folks only see thru 1 type of lens..... they never THINK outside of the box (or from someone else's POV) or try to FIGURE out WHY something has occurred without feeling slighted.

Horses for courses ... the Padeya brothers are hitting from ball 1 better than Pollard these days.. so its a wise decision. I think he will bat befor them if the #6 reaches early in the innings.

Polly probably doesn't mind, here. Looks like he has a sore finger, and he gets paid the same while resting with his pads on.
In any case, it's the Indian Premier League. So, why not give Indian players preference to gain experience and showcase their skills?
