It's great - the one area where they can't beat us into submission.

Who designed published and advertised this "ranking?"

I am very suspicious about this as modern day "journalism" could hardly be considered journalism anymore, and the rich and powerful decides the narrative.

Having worked as a journalist in Jamaica, nobody ever told me to write something from a political perspective. I always used my own perspective. I have friends who are still journalists in Jamaica, and they continue to use their own perspectives, relatively free from political interference.

In contrast, most journalists in the UK are required to have an anti Jeremy Corbyn slant, or they will not get promoted. Only the Mirror and some Guardian columnists are sympathetic to the Labour party. The vast majority are institutionally pro Tory.

Journalists like Peter Oborne resigned from the Telegraph when rich bankers spiked a story he was writing about HSBC. I never experienced that level of interference in Jamaica journalism.
