Modern day Mankad wink...and winning a World Cup

But seriously....Keemo bowling style would have created havoc in England.

I am totally disappointed Keemo is not going...

I would love to hear the reason why they omitted him.

Maybe they are not satisfied he is fully fit

That’s my point — on dead flat pitches that kid makes things happen with the ball - imagine what he will do under English conditions

Might be so but the man has done enough to earn his place , even as a starter

Well Selector Browne left now there's Coach Reifer

I said so even before they announced the team. Who was the last WI bowler to move the ball in and away in the air and off the pitch in seemingly all conditions? Sobers? Julien? In unfriendly WI conditions where even the Brits couldnt move the ball Keemo seemed untouchable.
In India it seems he can do the same even in a 2×2 overs type game when runs flow like water. WI may regret not having him for a cloudy day or evening game. Carlos is a nothing bowler and once every 20 innings bat

Dotish, not picking Keemo if he is fit.

Well said!
Once in a rare while I could say it is not about advocating for someone just because of country of origin.
He has more skills than most on that squad.
The whole world lies in front of him. He is being denied the opportunity to play in conditions where he can be most effective.

Maybe it is because of country of origin or homeboyism that the lesser endowed get selected instead of him.

His performance, or non-performance, in the IPL.

See, the IPL can make or break you.

Keemo has mastered the In-swinging leg-cutter and the Out-swinging Off-cutter. When he deigns to bowl a straight ball it usually plucks out the batsman's middle stump!! The last bowler to display these tools was the Great Freddy Truman!!!

Justice for Keemo!!!

Nobody has ever mastered the inswinging leg-cutter and the outswinging off-cutter

You saw all that after 11 ODI matches.
Have we not learned, after watching the last two decades of WICB cricket?

Can you share is UK stats, with the board.

It is unfortunate as he is clearly a talented player. His stats however do not suggest that he was an automatic selection. The truth is Braithwaite was in trouble but his performances in the back end of the England series put him on the plane. I find it interesting that Oshane Thomas who actually ended up with most wickets for WI bowlers against England and having just taken 5/21 against that opposition was not in some people's squads but Gabriel who hasn't played an ODI in 2 years was ahead of him. Thomas and Cotterel booked their flights with their 5 wicket hauls. Keemo was unfortunately injured and Carlos caught the rake and stepped up his bowling performances helping us to win one of the matches with the ball. Despite all the mouthing of selectors going on,the truth is they rewarded people for performance. And as Chrissy said,Keemo could come in due to the niggles.

Well-said, people need to pay attention to details and not senseless emotional ideas.
