Trump to Impeach Himself- New Democrat Strategy

Trump denies ordering McGahn to oust Mueller
I see it now. Seems the democrat strategy is to let Trump hang himself. And it seems to be working-.

Trump announce to all sundry yesterday that he will block every attempt at over site. Well if that is not more obstruction I don't know what is. I suppose he has the luxury of running out the clock in this manner.

Then today, he tweeted that he did not tell McGann to fire Mueller. This is McGann's sworn testimony. So Trump now lieing even more. Lies on top of lies. Somebody need to take away his tweet box.

Now the Republicans impeached Bill Clinton over a sex act. I dear not say what they aught to be doing to Trump but here we are. Even the devil looking sideways at Trump, saying dude in order for your lies to be believable you have to tell the truth some of the times. shock

Yes, the Dems were hoping to expose Trump without having to go the impeachment route. But, Trump is being uncooperative, which will leave them with only one option, impeachment.

smile smile It's now obvious that Trump will never give up power voluntarily, even after losing in 2020. He will have to be dragged out of the White House like they dragged Assange out that Embassy in London.

If New York officials succeed in getting Trump financial records, it will trouble Trumpworld far more than any congressional fight.

Driving the news: Deutsche Bank has begun providing records to New York Attorney General Letitia James in response to a subpoena for documents related to loans made to President Trump and his business, CNN's Cristina Alesci reports.

I think he will announce that he is moving the White House to Marlago and it will no longer be called the White House - instead it will be Kings Landing.

The Democrats have no real decisive plan it seems. Hilary gave them the Nixon road map to impeachment which includes impeachment hearings where they investigate to fill in the information gaps without voting as of yet for impeachment. They would still be able to carryon the business of the government. However the Democrats just floundering.

But they will need his financial records to corroborate the Deutsche Bank records. Do SDY have access to those Financial Records as of yet?

In reply to carl0002

They should have access to his records if it is relevant to the investigation.

If Mueller looked at them and say anything you can bet your bottom dollar he tipped off SDNY

Deranged Donald is at back at it again. Deranged Donald can do things like this and it’s not even the top of the news, because it gets lost beneath all of the other deranged things Deranged Donald does. #DerangedDonald

love it lol

Not exactly presidential immunity -- more of a DOJ policy against indicting a sitting president. Then of course there are those 14 cases that Mueller referred to SDNY. Nuff dark clouds on the horizon in Trumpland ...

Not to worry blackie. The IRS will be ordered by the courts to turn over Individual One's tax returns to the House Committee chairman. The law in question is straightforward and unambiguous

How many years down the road before that happens.

Six months or less. This is not a difficult legal issue. There is now discretion given to the IRS. If the committee chairman requests, the IRS "shall" (must) turn over the tax returns. I can see people going to jail for refusing to turn over those tax returns. We have the most lawless administration in history.

Ignoring a subpoena from congress comes with a ten year prison sentence. This isn't going to last long. If Barr does not enforce the subpoenas he can be impeached.
