I still don't think this decision will sit well with Keemo. He made himself available to play in the qualifiers while Russell was giving us a 6 for a 9. Keemo bound to take the t20 route once he get hot. Skeritt need to take his mind of the next election and do what is best for West Indies cricket

You can be loyal to windies and still make plenty money. Windies don't usually play during the IPL & CPL. You can fetch US$500K+ in both of them if you're good. So get money and still play for windies without being labelled a mercenary.

If you read my posts on here you will not come to such foolish conclusion. If you're watching IPL, you'll see practically every game, Russell is holding his wrists after making a big shot. He had to get treatment today. And today wasn't the first game he has been having issues with it.

And if I was insular, I would never have been saying that Cotterell & Oshane should be the first 2 seamers on the world cup sheet. They're from the place country as Dre Russ....

You have time to answer dat man. Dre came from Pakistan and cudn bowl a ball against England. Two weeks or so later he was playing in de IPL and people doh want others to worry about his fitness.

I am a fan of Keemotherapy too but he is young and his time will come. In fact, think if CWI was serious about developing young players, Paul should be travelling with the squad as a developing player, would be an invaluable experience for him, plus available for any emergency replacement.

You taking this thing too personally or genuinely being ingenious.

I see no one here wishing the worst or injury for Russell, they myself included seeing Russell play his heart out for KKR, seeing him hurl his body allover the place in the field and though we don't want it to happen wouldn't be surprised if it does.
We all know hisprowness to injury and would like for him to be in tip top shape for we WCteam
That's all.

I agree with you that these guys could make a lot of money playing for WI and IPL and Cpl.
Thry thinking of maximising earning and nothing wrong with that. But I have heard nuff millionaires say chasing after money never satisfy and is a goal you can never reach cause you'll never have enough.
I wishing all WI players much success and financial stability I just really want them not to forget where they come from and give back when they can and make themselves available for WI when called upon.

That how Russell plays, he takes his cricket very seriously, takes risks to stop runs, he leaves nothing on the field and will do the same for WI team. Understandably, we want him injury-free!
