lol lol lol

I was about asking what will happen to the next 30 overs?

We should dispel any notion that strong performance in T20 leads to an equally strong performance in ODI.

Looking at Dre Russ lately I'm not even sure he can last an ODI game.

6.1
A Russell to Lewis, out Caught by Karthik!! It is Russell's day. He can do no wrong today. Strikes with his first ball. Back of a length in the channel around off, Lewis looks to force it from the crease and the outside edge nestles into the safe mitts of Karthik. KKR are running away with the game.

Lewis c Karthik b A Russell 15(16) [4s-1 6s-1]

8.2
A Russell to Suryakumar Yadav, out Caught by Karthik!! He's getting wickets of full tosses. That smile on his face says it all. Russell is enjoying every minute of it and he also has a quick jig for the KKR supporters. Full toss around knee height, Suryakumar goes for his favoured pick up shot but gets only a leading edge, straight up and Karthik settles under it.

Suryakumar Yadav c Karthik b A Russell 26(14) [4s-2 6s-2]

A Russell 2-0-13-2

Dre Russ is not a Pollard. He is the real deal as a batsman. Can do it at 50 over intl level.

Not sure we can get 10 overs out of Russell though. But he is good enough for me to play as a batsman who can bowl 5 or 6 overs.

Andre Russell | Man of the Match:
I am a fan of Avengers. Hand-eye co-ordination is important. I generate a lot of power from the core. You need to make sure your body is fit and strong. That shot was a surprise for me as well. We have given ourselves a chance. Hopefully the result in the next two games goes our way. We needed to get 200-plus but getting 230 was just enough. We kept our heads calm under pressure and executed our plans well.

Though I am from India but the way Andre is playing in this season of IPL 2019, it is beyond awesome! What a timing and strike power. Kudos to the Jamaican Man! Love from India and his yesterday night knock of 80(40)balls was exceptional! Cricket World Cup 2019 is around the corner, hope to see him like this in the world event.

Exactly. June in England is overcast, cool, and rain. Even if they make the pitch like a runway the ball still going to swing.

These IPL flat track stars better hope the Mindian bookies are as involved with the WC proceedings as they are with the IPL.

Well Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli, Hardik, Warner, Bairstow, Smith, Williamson and all the rest who kicking butt in IPL have to play on those same English pitches...

Warner and Wiliamson are the only two who I would rate to play good swing and seam.

exactly... cricket is not a one-man game/team..... there are exceptions Like Lara, Tendy, Gayle, Kohli... but look at what DreRuss has done and his team is still mid-pack....

The point is DreRuss has to be excellent while all else (other good players on other teams) have to suck for Wondies to have a good chance........ what are the chances of the aforementioned?

We can keep dreaming....... wink wink wink wink

RemainsUnknown 2019-04-30 13:46:33

Even David Warner had a stellar stint with SRH...... his team is also mid-pack....
