About two years ago, they decided to restrict him by bowling short at his body, and it worked. Today every short ball seemed to work against him. Every thing else disappeared. Yorker. Wide. Full. Slow. All disappeared. That one foot reach for 6 was totally freakish.
If I was coach I would ask my bowlers to bowl short at his body and wait for the miscue. Even ask the spinners to bowl a little shortish

One short one per over rule?

All short balls are not short. It doesnt have to be head height.
The yorker is too risky. Even wide of the off stump he reaches.Options are few when bowling at him

I know. Just wondering if that was a barrier to the bowlers using the short ball.
Narine has been more or less found out re. vulnerability with the short balls.

Yep, but short balls that not short are the ones that will disappear into the stands.

The difference here is, it's IPL T20. Next month it will be Country vs Country in ODI 50 over cricket.
I guess we will be watching the ride with no excuses!!

The short ball is a problem to all our batsmen, I have only watch Russell in T20 caribbean league and he seems to swat the ball out the ball.
