Captain Jason Holder

Will he be ready for the WC?

If he is not, Keemo Paul should pack his bags, pronto.

Who should be the captain to lead the team in the absence of Holder? Roach, Bravo or Gayle?

There are injury concerns over West Indies captain Jason Holder just days before he is scheduled to lead the regional side in a Tri-Nations Series against hosts Ireland and Bangladesh from May 5-17.

Holder was left out of Northamptonshire’s One-Day Cup clash with Worcestershire which they lost by 20 runs at Northants today.

The 27-year-old Holder struck 72 last Wednesday against Lancashire – his third half-century in four outings in the competition – but needed treatment to his left leg early in his innings. He did not take the field when Northants bowled.

Cool yuh heels little castries/the garden man. lol lol

hmmmm, Holder will be as a big a loss as any. His batting these days is as good as some of our specialist bats! Rest from the Tri Series if need be.

His form for Northants has been outstanding, especially with the bat, so far scoring 248 runs at an average of 82.
