Because of my love for cricket WI the following photo of Uton Dowe, Danny Germs, and Jeff Dujon brings great pain looking at Dowe and Danny Germs who are not much older than Jeff. Life looked very hard for Dowe and Danny Germs in the photo.

I know we are ultimately responsible for the choices we make in life.
But, I recommend to our present leaders in Caribbean cricket (WI and local Boards) that there must be more programs to help our veterans of West Indies cricket who fall through the cracks into difficulties in life. I pray that people appropriate will listen and act.
