Clueless.....
In reply to RemainsUnknown
Were the rest of the team clueless also, or you expect more from this youngster?
In reply to openning
He had about two deliveries to negotiate from Tahir.
Then attack a pace bowler or someone else from the other end who isn't spinning/moving the ball both ways.
I don't care about the rest of the team in the hut while I'm at the wicket taking guard...
I put myself in his shoes and that's how I would approach the game... he's young so he will learn if he wants to get better... same for Hety....
It shows your personal character and inner-strength to fight and get a good individual score rather than just go down without a fight and say... it happened to everyone else so it's ok if it happens to me.......
that's an easy cop-out....
Remember... higher standards for all Guyanese... got to be able to think at a higher level than you Bajans and everyone else.......

Is Rubberford a muddie?

There you go, Sir.

I see. SOhe is going the way of Foo, Barnwell and Hety.

Is this format not swinging to the fence?
I hope someone can analyze the scoreboard for me, because the youngster face four balls, coming to the wicket with his team at 83/6, with 9.4 overs and remaining and 93 runs needed.

10 overs remaining? Thats a lifetime in T20 cricket
No wonder you think kraigg brathwaite is special
In reply to imusic
I can see why this team was bowled out for 99 runs.
They were all thinking like you and what's a lifetime in T20.
In reply to openning
Maybe you could explain why your barbados team was bowled out for 76 in the first innings in the 2019 regional 4 day competition against Guyana
In reply to imusic
The Pride should not had batted first at Providence Stadium, with an inexperienced team.
It could also be pay back for bowling Guyana out, for less than 70 runs a few years earlier.
Just my take
In reply to imusic
Bim bowled out TNT fuh 13, how do you explain that.

Have you paid attention to ANY decent batsman when they start their innings in T20? Sure they bat faster, but they also don't lash from ball 1 like a madman... there are exceptions, but that's not 'normal.'

There is no need to go on an all out, outrageous, defense for the young lad... mistakes will be made... but at least give your best efforts when at the crease and try to keep a calm head.
Easier said than done... but still... he's a pro now.

I am going only by my take on watching T20 cricket and looking at the number of balls received by Pant and Shaw, two Indian international players.
I understand your comment on the youngster, because he is a West Indian player, had he connected like Carlos three sixes, your comments would had been different.
T20 cricket is going for the fence, with batsman batting, 5-11.
BTW, do you know what he was told to do?

It is all Bishoo's fault. If he had practiced these guys with the googly then they would have been prepared to deal with Tahir. See...saw!

Have you been listening to KP's commentary? A batsman who knows a thing or 2 about batting.....
He just said... 6 overs left... Pollard needs to come in... take 5 to 10 deliveries to get his eyes in... then pretty much go for broke....
KP on Hardik & Pollard...
'Once or twice you can get-off by starting to go nuts from ball-1, but you need to get your eyes in FIRST.' 5 to 10 deliveries.....
In reply to RemainsUnknown
Pollard is batting with a batsman that has been batting for more than ten overs, all he need to do, is give de Kock the strike, KP don't have to educate me, it is just common sense.
Is Pollard batting clueless?

Is Pollard batting clueless?
But looking at the scorecard, it seems Polly came in around the 16th over.... BIG DIFFERENCE than when it the 10th over.... so I would say, no... he had to go for it at that time....
NEXT QUESTION.....
