The players have STILL not been paid and now the team is up for sale again!!!

The Tridents were taken over before last season's CPL by Indian businessman Vijay Mallya with the blessing and assistance of the Bajan government.

How exactly did the Bajan govt "ASSIST" this thief? Did they underwrite his bid? Did they front him any funds? Arrange bank loans etc? The man is a known fraudster and a crook who is wanted back in India. Did they do any due diligence at all before "assisting" him in taking over the Tridents?

Come on Bajans. Tell us here on CC what is going on!!!

However, Mallya also said the cost of running the franchise would be around USD 2 million. "By buying the team, me and the other shareholders assumed the obligation to participate in the tournament. Now participation in CPL costs money. So I went to the Barbados government saying I need your support. I met the Prime Minister and the government agreed to support but I paid USD 100 only to buy the team.

$100

All Bajan governments have been at loggerheads with Sandals.

But if de concessions given to de Tridents were so bad why have dey not let de franchise go elsewhere?

Ah hope you were not one of those blaming de last government for not accepting de concessions CWI wanted to host de Women's WC
