Here comes The Myer
He is going to close his eyes and swing.
It is not in his DNA to bat thru an inning.
In reply to openning
yup. He doing the same shyte. Backing a mile away for every ball.
His demeanor is completely different than in the first games I saw him in this IPL.
He seems to be relaxed and not overthinking it.
Less pressure

This is the time for him to show the IPL owners, that 2020 will be a better year.
In reply to Casper
he looks a big unit @ the batting crease. if he gets going he'll be Windies IPL power broker like the others Gayle/Russell/Pollard etc..
In reply to Raggs
If he keeps batting by backing away every ball he wont be. How many balls can he flick thru fine leg area with that style. He limits his options. Now from U19 his WI place was a given, but T20 has affected his batting.
He will score runs, but will he be consistent. And I want consistency
In reply to number09
he backs a way cos he can't read how the ball will turn off or leg. he is trying to read it off the pitch. with experience that fault will disappear.
In reply to Raggs
He dose the same with pace

Man shut your ass!

There is talent in the guy. He is still young.

Hetty is mi boy. Just frustrated with that backing away. He will be the next big one for WI
In reply to number09

Its T20 bro! Im sure those in his camp wants him to play his natural game with some degree of caution!
In reply to number09
I am more tune in to Gurkeerat, who look like a batsman, than Hetty Power hitting.

Once he spends time its RUNS
In reply to Runs
His fans going to be so disappointed, if he continue to bat the way he did today, in the other formats.
The only thing that type of batting showed me, is he is now a power hitter, joining Russell, Pollard and others.

Jus hug it up maan
all your posts on this thread are negative. Why you think they paid top money for him?
In reply to Kay
I speak of what I see, his batting today is a continuation of what I've seen, in other format.
Close eyes and swing.
Now if that's what you enjoy, good for you.
I preferred the wa his partner batted.

How come you havent seen the flaws in Paint after all these years!
In reply to StumpCam
Ask my good buddy Music my issues with KB, I call it as I see it.
Kriagg has not improved to the type of stroke player, that will make him a good International opener.
Shimron Hetmyer
In reply to Kay
Opening is not negative. He is just very concerned with the technical aspects of batting. He has provided the best explanation I have seen of why Kraigg B is not making runs.
