another record for our war cabinet...Blessed are we !

Slipfeeler 2019-05-05 19:44:32

Who said WI had a crisis in finding suitable opening batsmen? A fake crisis existed previously only due to the closed-minded selection committee of the previous Cameron and Browne administration.

hotarobin 2019-05-05 20:24:05

....higest opening partnership and the second highest partnership of all time. The latter record goes to Gayle and Samuels...

Bossman. Who selected Campbell for the Tests and ODIs against England?? Think carefully before you answer smile

Halliwell 2019-05-05 20:58:50

Slippy can't help it, he would slide on a rug.

Drapsey 2019-05-06 01:03:25

In reply to SPK

See, we got rid of the Big IDIOT and all these good things coming our way.

We might even win the upcoming World Cup.

Edited.

Word Cup.

Slipfeeler 2019-05-06 02:33:50

In reply to Walco

Campbell should have been selected over a year ago but I guess it took an upcoming election to get him on the team.
big grin big grin big grin

In reply to Slipfeeler

smile There’s only one problem with your theory. Campbell did not have a List A 50 before being selected to play for the West Indies in ODIs. So obviously the selectors identified talent and gave him an opportunity that arguably was not earned.

In reply to che

You need to make adjustments, che.

Thanks for catching my typo anyway. I'll edit.

In reply to Drapsey … in my humble opinion, the changes started with the removal of Law.

runout 2019-05-06 15:45:59

Fantastic. Now that these players have developed the appetite for scoring big runs I hope they apply that to stronger teams.

Shai always had the goods. Have to be a bit more confident against the faster stuff.

John has been a revelation. Plays cricket the WIndian way: Flair, purposeful, and extravagant...fans should enjoy the good times.

Go WI!!!

natty_forever 2019-05-06 15:52:25

In reply to Walco… well it depends, if he was competing with others with similar stats.

Walco 2019-05-06 17:03:33

In reply to natty_forever

Without looking I can guarantee you that Devon Smith has better stats smile

natty_forever 2019-05-06 18:19:59

In reply to Walco … however, we know what he can do.

Walco 2019-05-06 18:59:25

In reply to natty_forever

Are you suggesting like Slipfeeler that JC earned his selection, or are you saying that the selectors made a good move by selecting him?

natty_forever 2019-05-06 20:26:48

In reply to Walco good move. I wanted to see him score tons more frequently, as he consistently gets starts, yet fail to carry on at the FC level.
