Citing Iranian Threat, U.S. Sends Carrier Group and Bombers to Persian Gulf
The White House announced on Sunday that the United States was sending an aircraft carrier strike group and Air Force bombers to the Middle East because of “troubling and escalatory indications and warnings” related to Iran.
The deployment was intended “to send a clear and unmistakable message to the Iranian regime that any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force,” said John R. Bolton, the national security adviser, in a statement released Sunday night.

His policy against Iran is being instigated by his son-in-law and the President of Israel, he is just allowing them to do whatever they want. Trump has no respect for the UN policies.

The Americn governmnets long history of trying their best to contain Iran BUT on the other hand fully supporting Saudi Arabia is to date one of the biggest hypocrisies in the world. Saudi Arabia is far MORE a state sponsor of terrorism in the middle east and their kingdom continue to create war crimes in Yemen

China and Turkey will continue to buy oil from Iran regardless of American threats and sanctions. The world is not the same today as it was twenty years ago. America's attempt to dictate other nations foreign policy will not always be successful
