I love what Jimbo is doing. (Read about it)
He is ready to play for WI in whatever way given a chance. This is so encouraging.

Cornwall focused on conditioning - eye on India
The formula is simple. Burn more calories than you consume until you reach the target level. I wish him luck
The statement in the article that he is over 250 pounds is technically correct but misleading. He is well over 300 pounds ...

What about liposuction?
I wish Jimbo well.
West Indians (at least some) are in great anticipation of your debut
In reply to Courtesy
Perhaps for the chest and midsection. It would help.
Seriously though, I fear for Jimbo if he is selected to play at his present weight. Not sure India is an ideal team for his debut, but apparently Skerritt made some promises to certain people ...
In reply to Walco
Yeah to West Indian supporters

Not exactly who I had in mind
Never knew Cornwall was so tall. 250 lb on a 6 foot five 5 inch frame is not at all bad. It is only bad if his conditioning or lack thereof interferes with his wind, or if it prevents him from running or restricts his running speed.
So... if his goal is to improve his wind that is great. If it is merely to lose weight then he is barking up the wrong tree. Or in the immortal words of the original sh*thouse poet:
"Here I sit
broken-hearted...
Came to sh*t
but only farted."

If Cornwall is 250 lbs Dave Cameron is still CWI President More like 300 - 325 ...
I feared that Jimbo would have been so discouraged by so many terrible decisions made against his cricket abilities. But, it sounds that he is working hard (from statements in the article roughly 8-12 hours each day).
Go for it! Your time is coming!

My opinion...
Sorry, if Cornwall looses weight of any significance, he'll become a different person, and with it his game will suffer.
He is good enough as he currently is and should be selected to represent the West Indies without the transformation that so many seek.
A little varied thought pattern...
Part of Jimbo's cricket bullets bowling is his imposing presence. I have imagined facing a bowler of his "big presence" (I never did as a batsman), but I would have some worries. He will never be Lance Gibbs size but becoming more mobile (even a little) will help his batsmanship.
People forget the reports those who have watched him over the years say with confidence he has the gifts to be a better batsman than a bowler. Meaning he is a genuine allrounder.

Who tell you so?

Never in my life have i heard that if an athlete looses excess weight he'll become a worse athlete

Is Gayle fitter than Cornwall? What about Dre Rus? Can these two be considered fit, although they weigh less than Cornwall. Just asking, Who bowled the most overs in the WI four day tournament? and also took the most wickets? Does Cornwall have to pass the same fitness test as Gayle and Dre Rus?
I think (I am not a doctor) Cornwall is fitter than both Gayle and Dre Rus.
In reply to Drapsey
In reply to dclar301 Gayle I would agree, Dre Rus, NO!
In reply to cherri
The same person that promised to get Jimbo to eat a half chicken per meal instead of a whole chicken
In reply to Drapsey
That there is the type of statement I would expect from a climate denier or someone who does not believe in science
In reply to dclar301
Yes, at 42 Gayle is more fleet of foot and mobile than Cornwall. Not to mention BMI. There is a big difference between not being capable of doing something (Cornwall) and choosing not to do something (Gayle).

Oh r h......you dangerous....

Needs to see a dietician as well. I switched off meat (except for fish) and diary and it has been amazing so far....

Always spreading false 3rd hand information. Some of us actually know these people (and not 3rd parties) so we can call you out on your constant LIES
And Gayle is 42 since when?? Please try to get your facts right at least once this week smh.
In reply to Judgement
I knew this would draw you out Mental Patient. The 42 was a reference to your Mental Midget IQ. I have a question for your lying ass. Soon come ...
Kindly respond to my question on the "Fired Selection Panel Suing" thread. I bumped it just for you.

You're playing with words, conman.
Cornwall is no athlete. If you try making him into one, my assertion (ok, humble opinion) becomes reality.
suppose he lose weight, but then can't bowl as well
In reply to Drapsey
what?
ur saying a professional sports person isnt an athlete?
what is he then, some random amateur? if so he got no business in international cricket
Some of you might have teased fat people at school. Is that the real reason why some of you fight against Jimbo? I hope not!
In reply to ray Ray a that you Hope?
In reply to conman
Cornwall is an exception.
He imitates the bumble-bee when he comes in to bowl; stands lead-footedly in his crease and heaves while batting; and repeats his lead-footedness in the field.
Nothing athletic about him. Well, I've never heard him speak, so I might be missing the component that qualifies him as such.
In reply to ray
Suppose de man lose the weight and turn ah fast bowler
