I'm disappointed.
After no less than stellar leadership stints with the Bajan and Lucian franchises, I thought his next stop would've been with the Jamaican outfit. But Gayle must've beaten him to it.

They need to go back to country. No reason that the CPL has to follow the model of the other tournaments. Six years now and I don't see the real benefit of spreading the player across the region. I think that it would be better if we reverted....

That thinking is why we have so much insularity in the sport, when we start looking at The WICB/CWI as a country and not a group of Islands, with a professional mindset, your thinking will be different.

That is a ridiculous argument. 95% of the arguments on this MB are based on insularity. Just look at the vile comments that are made whenever the West Indies team is selected. So I guess that it hasn't work. Changing the composition of teams will never change insular thinking.
What evidence do you have to show that island based teams are less professional? It's just a point that is pushed but really has no substance.

Jamaicans for Jamaica from the start
Trinis for Trinidad from the start
Guyanese and Bajans for where them come from, from the start
It’s a joke
It’s only an excuse to shoehorn some unwilling Trini, Bajan, Guyanese and Jamaican surplus players to strengthen the dots.
