In reply to Discourse can you explain, how Ireland got 2 points and if as it seems 5 for a win, why Bang got one, for the NR?

Beats me too
I have seen nothing regarding the tabulation system.
In reply to natty_forever
Looks like 4 points for a win with a 1 point bonus if you can get it.

Bonus points. The team dat wins with a run rate 1.25 times de losing side gets an additional point. Just like our Super 50
In reply to Maispwi They did however say share the points. ...and yuh saying the 8 wicket win nuh come with a bonus point?
In reply to Maispwi
Interesting, that. Extra point for a comprehensive thumping. Seems a bit arbitrary but them's the rules I guess.
In reply to Tryangle suh how come they never get one for our thumping?
In reply to natty_forever
Its a batsman's game. De Bonus point is based on run rate. Its 4 points for a win so 2 each for an abandoned game
In reply to Tryangle
Is years now we been using a Bonus point system. I can vouch for 2014 onwards. Its supposed to encourage entertaining batting

I think a regular thumping is considered not worthy, you have to blister the opposition to get the bonus point.
Maispwi I think for a regional tourney like the Super50 (esp where it appears teams struggle to score runs) it is a natural fit. Just seemed relatively out of place in an international tournament. Not an issue of any significance mind you; would such a rule have a place at say a World Cup though?
In reply to Tryangle
The Australians used it in dere Tri Series a while back so it wudn be de first
