How could forking Buju Banton disrespect the great Nelson Mandela and call his tour "The long walk to Freedom" (I guess taking inspiration from Nelson's Mandela's Autobiography) when Mandela was jailed for 27 years for fighting for the rights of his people against the wicked Apartheid regime, and Buju did about 9 years for conspiring to smuggle cocaine!!
WTF where is the equivalency, moral or otherwise?
Now I appreciate Buju, and think he's a great musician, AND i'm not a big fan of govt entrapment, BUT come on man...
Anyways that's what's been bothering me for a few months now...
End of vent/rant!!!

It is now trendy amongst the so called"WOKE" black intellectual class to cuss MANDELA AND OBAMA as sell outs.

You sound experienced in that... calling.
I'm not a fan of Buju, but I forgave him for the indiscretion knowing he was set up by the faggots and their cohorts.

I see people equating Buju with Bob Marley, to me that is a bigger problem. That means as I have suspected that the Caribbean never fully understood the value of Bob Marley as a philosopher, a writer, a prophet and a performer.

Yup...the "I am legend" buju concert was less than subtle.
I have been feeling the same way my brother and have had numerous discussions with friends about this and felt like a lonely voice in the wilderness.I was sickened to see how people were cheering and celebrating when he got out. If it was weed i might have had a slightly different view but cocaine. I dont want to hear about entrapment, you can only be entrapped if you are involved in this activity.

Buju is a celebrated drugs dealer.

Others including me raised that question - some folks are simply clueless. There is no comparison between the two incarcerations.

Alot of people celebrated in this World...like 80%...are a something or the other..including the one you defend ad nauseum.

this has been a point of contention with my yardie friends
A coke trafficking Rasta convict disrespects a freedom fighter and some in here still defending the Rasta ...hmmm I am just glad young people don't care much about this, better to ignore foolishness
