Post World Cup ODI XI
In reply to DIEHARD
Not bad but (i we are still missing a decent spin option, which is not Chase and Campbell for some reason never gets to bowl at international level; and (ii) you should have an alternative for Russell
My prediction we will end up in 6th position.
It's the best we can achieve.
In reply to VoopsandOut
That's either Brathwaite or Allen.
Allen yet to come good, it's apparent to me he never will as a bowler with Holder as captain.
Seemed to completely misuse him today

Who's Thompson?
Cornwall?
Alzarri?
In reply to spider
i think he meant Thomas (Oshane)
In reply to VoopsandOut
Ok.Thanks. Was thinking, who is this player I've never heard of.
In reply to anthonyp
If Cornwall loses weight then sure

To need to identify some young spinners to work with.
By and large you have the core group to invest in. Cottrell doesn't belong in that core given his age.
I don't expect we'll see such an 11 right after.
J. Campbell
E. Lewis
S. Hope
S. Hetmyer
S. Ambris
J. Blackwood
A. Russell
J. Holder
K. Pierre
O. Thomas

You Jamaican?
How Blackwood can enter a WI XI before Pooran?
Are you aware of his List A record?
In reply to DIEHARD
I can't disagree with your 11.
Good to hear CWI are working with Odean Smith, Chemar Holder and Shamar Springer as emerging players.
In reply to DIEHARD
Blackwood can turn his arm for a few overs if need be.
Hit a couple of 50s and 1 century in last year's Super50.
West Indies 'A' tried to have him open the innings in England.
