Agree.

That should be it for Roach. Needs to wheel and come again, have no clue the length to be bowling.

pariaman 2019-05-13 15:00:05

Like we depending only on Gabriel?

TheTrail 2019-05-13 15:00:37

Right on time as usual...from Bravo to Roach...who is next on the list?

natty_forever 2019-05-13 15:04:26

In reply to TheTrail … I meant in this match. Bowling crap, needed to be replaced.

Now showing up in his fielding

Nurse to Soumya Sarkar, 1 run, dropped as steps out and hoicks it to midwicket. Roach is inside the circle, and it comes straight to him, and pops straight out

Attention: Brains under construction

We were able to beat England with the old coaching staff and the full team. Now with all the changes, we can't beat Bang.

Good going CWI why did you change a winning coaching staff again?

natty_forever 2019-05-13 15:16:54

In reply to sunfish … we did fine at home.

mikesiva 2019-05-13 19:18:39

In reply to natty_forever

Exactly.

The pitches suited our bowlers at home.

In Ireland, they do not.

natty_forever 2019-05-13 19:38:48

In reply to mikesiva … now if he said we looked clueless without pitches to suit us, and the think tank look like they are clueless once we encounter conditions we not familiar with, I may agree.

Doh worry Simmo will be back soon

well England just put up 373/3 in SouthHampton and Pak fell short by just 12 runs without being bowled out so we are not entirely unique...Seems like we need to learn to bat..

Maispwi 2019-05-13 21:24:21

Didn Bangladesh beat us in de Caribbean when we had a supposedly better team. We behaving like we have been beating left right and centre

Any of you have tried fielding in 63 degree weather?

This is just another funny thread.

How many bowling sides—in the modern ODI game—can defend 250...on a pitch like that?

So the issue is not the bowling. The team was almost bowled out for less that 250 so the bowlers simply did not have enough to defend.

However, I do not blame the batting or bowling. Let’s come back from the 1980s and deal with today’s Windies team. We are ranked lower than Bangladesh. That ranking was not pulled out of a hat. We are also playing a depleted team. Let’s deal with and accept these realities.

In reply to Ewart poor excuse.

natty_forever 2019-05-14 14:49:26

In reply to JOJO if you say so, but the bowling and fielding was still below par. We looked like a team without a plan, bowling all over the place, not to mention dropped catches and runout misses.
