'Honeytrap' killer deported to T'dad

A young woman described in the English press as the "honeytrap killer," who led her 16-year-old-boyfriend to his death as she wore a see-through dress, has been released from prison after ten years andimmediately deported from the UK to Trinidad, where she was born.

A report in the London
Daily Mail's online edition said Samantha Joseph from Brockley, southeast London, was jailed for life in 2009 for her part in the murder of Shakilus Townsend.

But she has been sent back to Trinidad, after doing a minimum stint of ten years in a British prison. A source told the Mail, "At least she's not been able to stay here after committing such a terrible crime."

So when does life actually mean life?

Why didn't the courts take her age into consideration, only 15 at the time? Cognitive abilities are not mature until 20s or later. Even the conservative US Supreme court has forbidden mandatory life sentences for teenagers.
