Besides Arawak who else supports the Knicks?

Figures this is the first time in ages my Magic aren't in the lottery.

I'm a conspiracy theorist on the lottery though and expect the Lakers to win it.

Will return to being a fan after Dolan sells the team.

Only to mismanage the team and piss away his first 5 years like they did Zinger. lol

dayne 2019-05-14 18:58:30

It was difficult being a Knicks fan in the last decade, most of the players on the team were changed every year and the uncompetitive games were too much. Hopefully they are lucky tonight, but the losing will continue for a while.

If the Nicks are able to get Zion Williamson I am afraid they would trade him away like they did with a bunch of other good draft picks. They are so inept.

defeyeant 2019-05-14 19:48:14

reading that the Knicks will trade the pick if they get it. I know I'm waiting to see just how badly they botch this

that seems to be the rumour

I don't think the picks they traded were all that good...the best would be Porzingas ( and he did not want to stay here anyway)

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:33:16

Here we go...

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:35:51

I don't understand all this...ESPN ruins everything....do the stupid draft!

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:44:09

Let's go Norleans!

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:45:37

Lakers and Knicks...how convenient!

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:51:16

Ha ha...called it again!

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:56:10

I would pair Jamorant with Davis.

They got Zion front and center, ignoring all the other young men in the room.

Brought his teammate with him to the podium who is also in the draft then asking the guy what he thinks of Zion....all Espn can do...build people up to tear them down...

As if any of these other players could not be a greater success in the end.

Davis will not stay in NO

Worst case scenario for Pelicans - trade Davis in the offseason for some pieces that can work well with (presumably) Zion?

Seems a good dilemma to have for a franchise that looked to be falling into the abyss.

Renewed life of which franchises like the Knicks can only dream of having right now?

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 14:33:24

In reply to Tryangle

Trade Davis for the second round pick if he does not want to stay, then take Zion and morant!

You need a team willing to possibly take him as a rental. But I agree if I were Pels I would use this to rebuild.

The KP trade was not solely about picks. It was finding someone willing to take on the remaining years of Tim Hardaway and Courtney Lee contracts which in turn allows them to create enough cap space to accomodate two Max contracts. Of course this is merely putting them in a position to sign, since no one can guarantee where free agents are going to go. The Knicks have been irrelevant and poorly managed for so long, that even when they do smart things fosks bash them because they are now viewed as a disaster.

defeyeant 2019-05-15 17:41:44

third pick isnt bad for the Knicks. I honestly think Barrett has franchise player potential.

Headley 2019-05-16 14:54:32

Knicks fan probably regrets getting Zion Williamson tattoo

I think Ja Morant is actually going to be the best player in this year's draft. His total game is better and he is a point guard who would have the ball to control the game.

In reply to seaegg99

Am not going to predict who is going to have a greater impact, but i do love Ja Morant and think he is going to be a nice piece to pair with Jaren Jackson for the Grizzlys to rebuild around. Moving Conley and his two remaining expensive years to the Suns for their 6th pick actually makes sense for both teams.

ray 2019-05-16 18:05:59

In reply to NYCGURU

So, you think the SUNS are suckers to go for that

lol

NYCGURU 2019-05-16 23:01:28

In reply to ray

Why would they be considered suckers to take on the last two years of Conleys contract? Devin Booker is the only player on their roster making big money and they have been looking for a point guard to run the show for years. All of their young players are on their rookie contracts and under team control. Monty Williams need a veteran to teach these youngsters how to win and Conley is only 31.
