looks to be more like a gamble than an investment. For now.

People are getting abducted, murdered. They are trying to push these self driving cars and going nowhere...if anything wait till it drops to near nothing...it will.

Personally I can't wait to see that business disappear. No reason you can't take a cab.

Quit trying to rethink the wheel!

Company has never earned a profit in its entire existence. What do you think?

Just to play Devil's advocate, didn't Amazon take several years before it turned a profit as well?

You never know.....

It is a good gamble but it might take 15 to 25 years for the self driving car to be reliable

They cannot lose money for that long...something has to give...greed is what will cause their demise!

If they would pay their drivers fairly and do some due diligence on the workforce. wait for the self driving tech to become mainstream and move towards such at that juncture , then they would stand a better chance.

Bit they are in a rush to get there so they can pocket the money.

That alone should tell you how they themselves feel about relying on drivers to make money.

They cannot make money and pay their drivers well at the rate they charge.

Then they are not a viable business.

Ayenmol 2019-05-15 00:25:36

They wanna use people to price out taxi drivers then discard those people for robots!

Hope they fall on their face!
