After the West Indies I think Pakistan are the most naturally talented cricketers. When we ruled the world of cricket,Pakistan always gave us a great fight without complaints, like the other teams. They will never be world beaters but will always be very entertaining. When they are good they are very, very good, when they are bad, they are atrocious. cool

My second team - they play lovely cricket. Truth is Pakistan was at the wrong end of some horrific umpiring decisions in our region.
They have a decent chance in this WC

yeah reel talk.....the only issue both sides had was with umpiring in their respective home series. Pity the 87 and 86 series not found on film. Lost epics. West Indies are like brazil, Pakistan is like France....virtually two sides of the same coin

Agree with you and Granite on the entertaining style of Pakistan.

I reckon they are still 25 runs short to won this as their bowlers- their traditional strength have not yet click.

Lets see if Morgan will face a ban- he was almost 45 minutes over the stipulated time and it is indeed his second offense- the first was recently in Barbados where he and his team were fined.

I believe according to the rules he is due a ban, just like Jason Holder. But lets see if he gets away as the big 3 seems to be untouchable.

We can.

From the moment somebody said Pakistan winning dis one, we could bet the ranch on a Pommie win.

Well I did warn they were 25 runs short- but even that would not have been enough. It would have been more interesting if Pak had taken their catches though.

Nothing on Morgan though- he was 43 minutes behind the time limit, the second time he has infringed, he is due a ban.

I take no joy with his ban, the rule- though stupid must be applied consistently and I was monitoring this only to see if the rule would have been consistently applied to the Big and Bad 3. As you may recall, Jason's ban saved England from a black wash in the last test series.

I am pleased the rule was applied consistently. But I am still against this particular rule.

agreed, they need to revisit this rule, it's ineffective for cricket and devalue the game.
