Early in the English season the pitches are usually placid, but later after they have been played on a few times they lively up

every game 350+ will be the norm looks like. West indies have to get comfortable with big scores. I t seems like they aim for 270 and happy with that.

70 in the new 30 and 150 is the new 100!

Only team that seems to be locked into the bygone tactics of building an ODI innings. Every one else have guys with S/R 100 and above, WI have guys hobbling in the 70s and 80s S/R and fans going rah rah because they score a Ton or two. Scoring 60 off 70 balls and 100 off 80 is recipe for coming last or next to last in the WC.
Anything below 300 points to an almost certain loss these days and WI has not shown the ability to put 300 on the board for even three out of five games. They score barely 300 once a deries and fade away.
