No takers?
What has happened to the NBA that no one's willing to talk about the Conference finals?
Warriors are back to splash brothers form. I love it!
Easy win. A bit underwhelming play. But the ball movement is what I love.
Bucks Raptors is a back and forth affair so far.
Lowry playing lights out...but the a bucks are hitting their share of crucial threes.

NBA Conference Finals..
In reply to Ayenmol
Western Conf weak...that's why GS keep winning every year
In reply to ray
Too bad LeBron could not make the playoffs even in a weak Conference.
Even when going playoff activated!
Or whatever he called it!
In reply to ray
Btw every year they win the Championship. ..so I think you mean the East...since their winner go home empty handed!
Anyone who thinks the Bucks winning against the Warriors is crazy!
In reply to Ayenmol
discuss it here narcissist
In reply to Ayenmol
weak conference vs a team that is very loaded with all stars
LeBron did beat this all star team with a scrub team
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
Maybe before you accuse me you should put on your glasses.
Do you have issues?
Are you feeling left out?
Would you like me to start a thread for your issues?
In reply to ray
Ray, am tired of beating this old drum.
In reply to Ayenmol
i am left out. glad you were the alter boy. Bless up man
In reply to Dan_De_Lyan
You are obviously troubled.
Question is whether you are simply filled with foreign spirits.
Or is there a courtesy syndrome pandemic?
In reply to Ayenmol
let the preacher "anoint" you wid the oil oh chosen gentile
I was flipping back and forth watching Game 1, missed how the Bucks went on that run with under 3 to play and how Toronto went cold.
Looks like a captivating series, no doubt. Likely going 7.
Milwaukee *or* Toronto getting to the Big Dance will be nice, both fan bases have to be delighted.
In reply to Tryangle
Defense. Plus the Bucks started to play with a little intensity.
They went on two runs. Led by 7 then Toronto tied again after 3 turnovers led by middleton...then Bucks bare down again and snuffed them out!
In reply to Ayenmol
Defense my ass...Lopez had his best game ever, especially in the 4th qtr, and Raptors ran out of steam
In reply to Ayenmol
Nope!
Raptors got deer fever and were caught in the headlights in the final minuted of the game.
Bucks got lucky in the final minutes of the game. Kawai got crowded and could not penetrate. Powel, Vanvleet, Gasol, Siakam and Danny Green missed open shots. Lowry, Siakan, Kawai and Green missing free throws did not help.
Plus that Lopez guy.
If any snuffing out took place, it was the Raptors who snuffed themselves out.
In reply to ray
Lowry had his best game ever and the Bucks had no steam in the first three quarters...
How did that turn out for them?
In reply to Hellraiser
Bucks got lucky in the final minutes of the game. Kawai got crowded and could not penetrate.
Yeah, that's called defense!
Yeah that's called execution!
And the Bucks doing what they had to do is called what?
Bucks have the better team.
The raptors seem to be superstar Kawhi with help from Lowry, Siakim and to some extent Ibaka. everyone else is a spectator. The once vaunted bench strength is non-existant now. Jeremy Lin was acquired just to sell jerseys and cheerlead. Norm is a poor man's T.Ross , Van Vleet has deficiencies and the rest are cheerleaders. To be honest even though they are my team they dont deserve to make it past this round
In reply to defeyeant
Welcome objective fan.
But this is a playoff. If you can Beat the opponent in front of you, then you are as deserving as any.
But they probably won't and that will settle it.
Will be a Bucks vs Warriors final. And for the first time in recent years Warriors will be dominated and outplayed by their opposition. Mark my words!
In reply to defeyeant
dude...what kind of raptors fan are you???
I would never ever say the team I support don't deserve to be in the final
DOn't be a front runner Ayenmol
In reply to ray
Just like you will never say your boy LeBron is not the best?
Because you are not objective?
In reply to Ayenmol
Lebron is not the best...he is one of the best
You don't think he belongs in the NBA, which is totally crazy
In reply to ray
I don't think LeBron belongs on the NBA?
More craziness by you.
LeBron is a great player. Not the greatest and not worth the hype.
Btw did you notice the hype for Zion by ESPN?
Am even hearing from self serving talking heads that Zion should shun the Pels and go to Knicks, somehow.
Because the Pels are dysfunctional!
Knicks are a standout all of a sudden.
These people want to hype players so that some people hate them because they don't believe they are worth it and others fall for the hype and gobble up the coverage.
Because it is easier to hold an audience on one person than it is to find interesting things to say about many players!
In reply to Ayenmol
We will see about that
In reply to russean76
Not sure what you referring to there mr.
Few different topics at work.
All of you listen up this series wont even be close Toronto will be lucky if they win a single game. The bucks is the best three point shooting team in the league and could not hit a three in the first half yet they kept the game close. This wont happen again.Leonard scored thirty-one points and Lowry scored thirty and they still lost, how much will they have to score to win a game.
In reply to Ayenmol
Sorry man,i was referring to you saying that anyone who thinks the Bucks will beat the Warriors is crazy.
In reply to russean76
Ok...two crazies have checked in thus far.
Many have come with the thought they are better than the splash brothers at the three (Harden) until they are face to face with the barage.
TO will win the series
In reply to Ayenmol
The Bucks played Golden State twice this season and beat them both times in fact in one of the games the Bucks led by thirty before the end of the third quarter and won by twenty plus. Now i know you are gonna say the playoffs are different but its also the playoffs for the Bucks.
In reply to ray
Toronto"s two best players had a very good game and they lost the Bucks had the worst three point shooting game of the season and still won. The Bucks is the best defensive team in the league what do you think Toronto need to do to win. Also remember that Lowry can be inconsistent in fact one game against the Phillies he didnt score a single point in the game and he is a point guard.
In reply to russean76
The Bucks played Golden State twice this season and beat them both times
Hmm...So did Houston, Toronto, even Philli.
Portland beat them thrice.
Ain't gonna happen.
That was game 1 in a best of 7 series. The Bucks have home court advantage and if they are up 3-0 at the end of game 3 in Toronto Sunday, then I will say the Raptors are out.
Milwaukee will win it when they win it.
In reply to Phillip-3
Yeah...but one of them will win so which is it?
Game 2 to me sets the tone for a 7 game series. If the home team goes up two? Then the underdog is under slot of pressure...look what happened to Houston even with KD gone in game 6...game 2 is key.
In reply to Ayenmol
The NBA is very tough. Milwaukee is #1 in the East and they should win the conference.
Last night's win wasn't a blowout for them. Let us play a few more games and see how it goes.
Well, close game so far.
Warriors backk to lackadaisical play.
4th comin up.
In reply to Ayenmol
lix for Warriors
In reply to methodic
Take that back!
Man, what a game! Lilard is a boss! But the Warriors know how to win tough games!
Experience matters!
In reply to Ayenmol
ah hang me hopes on the Bucks.
In reply to methodic
Lol... again, experience.
I see lotsa self proclaimed Basketball geniusses on the board.
I and I just watch and enjoy...
and give a couple pointless opinions here and there...
i sense a beatdown tonight..
In reply to Ayenmol
By whom?
In reply to imusic
Doh want to break your heart...it's friday!
Fast start for Bucks but Raps reeling them back in...for now.
Can someone check with the self proclaimed experts?
How they doin over there?
Defense....39 points allowed! Kawhi not allowed to drive at will and not allowed freedom to shoot uncontested threes.
Offense...Lopez who?
Ilyasova in all you runkutunks...Middleton and just about anyone else who wishes to shoot, having their day!
link WI_cricfan5/17/19, 12:40:00 PM
Yep the Raps winning tonight and the bench will show up.
Yeah and my grandma will top score for the Raps!
Bwhahahahahahahahahahhahahaaaaaaa!

Rinse, repeat.
Too good!
When this team plays inspired on both sides of the ball? Just unbeatable.
Who's gonna beat this team? They are going to nullify Giannis and shoot the Bucks out of the arena!
In reply to Ayenmol
most boring unimaginative NBA champions
In reply to ray
Really? What makes them so?
In reply to problemjay
Remember I said it first! Watch how the bandwagon Warrior fans will jump off the wagon come finals
In reply to problemjay
With or without KD...clarify, no outs!
In reply to Ayenmol
Not going to get into small talk with you but if KD plying or not will have make a difference in this year eventual outcome I would have mentioned it
In reply to problemjay
Lol..alright then...I guess you just itching to be wrong.
In reply to Ayenmol
hey blowhard you always gripe about Lebron but you have nothing to say about all the blatant walking that Giannis does?
In reply to Darkness
Steeeuuupp.
In reply to Ayenmol
yeah...do that all you want.. you are just a loud mouth know it a anyway.
In reply to Darkness
Dude quit crying like a baby because I make you all eat your words...loudmouth are people who talk then have to eat their words...what have I been wrong about?
What have you been right about?
In reply to Ayenmol
eating what words again bufoon????
In reply to Darkness
Dude get of the thread with your puke...either talk basketball or move along.
I have no time for people with issues.
Apparently only Kawhi getting foul calls in this game...
I guess the games must go on.
Bucks come within 2 then turnover the ball mindlessly, miss easy shots or whatever.
In reply to Ayenmol
hahah..enuh said..
In reply to Ayenmol
Yet Powell and Lowry are about to foul out. Yeah, it must go on, we guess.
Looks like the whole Toronto team on their way to fouling out. They better pray the angels on the other side get called or else this game done.
Except Danny Green of course. Why is he still a starter? lol
In reply to Darkness
Take your darkness someplace else...
You have said nothing but curse at me for being right.
But somehow you celebrating a man telling you your idiocy is not wanted!
In reply to Ayenmol
Take your darkness someplace else..
very original
In reply to JahJah
its been that way forever.
In reply to JahJah
You know that if the Bucks were not wasting away possessions, missing easy layups etc and had taken the lead when they had like 4 opportunities at 2 points down...
If the Bucks go up by 4, this game is over. As well as Toronto has played, they still can't put the Bucks away.
In reply to Ayenmol
Toronto is wasting their own possessions and getting fouls called on them left, right and centre while Bucks aren't getting called, except for one bench player. THAT is why this game is not done yet!
Kyle fouls out..
Powell 5 Gasol 5
In reply to JahJah
You always crying about fouls...Bucks have wasted easy shots...like I have said, you only look at your rooting interest and not the entire game.
Giannis getting fouled left and center.
Anyhoo...I think it is obvious to Toronto fans that they are outmatched.
Great shooting game with lots of contributors hitting crucial shots, and they still can't shake the Bucks who are not shooting well.
Game tied...pressure start!
In reply to Darkness
You breathe on these Bucks and you get called. I guess they aren't 'bucks' after all, if they need baby-ing.
In reply to JahJah
The only person getting touchy fouls is Kawhi!
In reply to Ayenmol
What?? Each team is shooting about 40%!!!!!!!!!
Are you actually watching the game? Speaking rooting interest, what about your anti-rooting interest?
Try analysing the game and stop being a pompous ass.
In reply to Ayenmol
answer me this.. how one specific team, not just playoffs, but for the last 10 years at least keeps getting called more and less foul shots at least 95 percent of the playoff games..
is that normal?
Another opportunity to take the lead gone begging.
In reply to Ayenmol
You're not watching the game. Be gone. You are like the refs The fix was long in. Like you and the refs fail to realise, is still Americans playing on Toronto's team.
Another layup missed!
In reply to Darkness
The dude is relentlessly blind AND delusional. He's talking about great shooting game when the shooting is more or less the same in attempts and %.
In reply to JahJah
What fix in? Why would the NBA want this to end in 4?
Or TNT? The refs started the game calling a bunch of fouls on the Bucks...just that they have more bodies to rotate and the Raptors are not a s,art team!
In reply to JahJah
powel gets pushed..but gets called for the foul and has fouled out..these refs are brutal..
In reply to Ayenmol
The NBA cares for some team north of the border?
Is that why Raps starters were averaging 3 fouls each and the Bucks 1 each after 3 quarters??
What are you on, son???
In reply to JahJah
What does the comparison of their shooting have to do with it? The Raps are having their best shooting game of the series with the most players in double digits...the Bucks are not shooting as well as they have in the past two...
In reply to Darkness
The shit is ridiculous.
In reply to Ayenmol
One team was 31-83 and the other 33-85 in FG when you posted your tripe. Raps were doing better in 3 pointers which opened things up for them, but fell down going to the line 15 times to Bucks' 26...in that span.
In reply to JahJah
its really difficult to win playing 5 on 8 every game...
In reply to JahJah
All you ever do is argue fouls discrepancy....you only see negatives because you have no confidence in your team
Simple as that...
In reply to Ayenmol
Simple as that...
Dude, no one is arguing that Bucks are not the better team. We are arguing for calling the game fairly.
This is hard for you to understand?
Yeah, because the NBA allowed the Raps to beat the PHILADELPHIA 76ERS...so they could fix a game for the Milwaukee Bucks!!!
In reply to Ayenmol
RAPs won that series despite the bias.
In reply to JahJah
Middleton.hooks Danny Green and ties the game..no effing call
Omg...I doh know why am bothering with your crying when game is on fire....
In reply to Ayenmol
The Refs sure tried in the Philly series..if not for a miracle shot..
numbers don't lie..95% of the games on the short end of the stick...explain that
In reply to Darkness
Cry me a river...
In reply to JahJah
First class choking by Kam.
In reply to Darkness
He knows the truth. He's just saying "so what, hehe."
You don't fix games for better teams...in a 7 game series the better team almost always wins...you fix games to elevate a particular player on a crap team....remind you of anyone? You were'nt crying then!
No reason for the NBA to fix this series!
Any reasonable person would understand that!
In reply to Ayenmol
numbers don't and I know you have nothing if that is your retort.
In reply to Ayenmol
You're back on Lebron? Wonders never cease!
In reply to JahJah
You were'nt crying last year when I was talking about the disparancy in the foul calls!
Listen dude, you neva admit to anything.
There is no fix, just you taking a beating and hating it!
In reply to Ayenmol
What discrepancy in foul calls? There was NONE! You imagined it because of your hatred.
the circumstantial evidence says the Raps consistently gets robbed.
Numbers don't lie...prove me wrong or shut up
In reply to JahJah
Lol...how many times have you seen Steph play with 4 or 5 fouls down the stretch?
Why is Lowry fowl ing out at point guard?
Stupid play is why!
In reply to Ayenmol
Listen once and for all. Bucks players are not getting called for blatant fouls. Trying watching the game.
In reply to JahJah
I am watching the game...there are missed fouls on both sides...
When a point guard fouls out it's his fault...you love to talk about basketball knowledge and you arguing this nonsense?
If the Bucks win this game, doh even bother watching the next...blowout city!
In reply to Ayenmol
Missed on both sides??
DWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So all RAPs supposed to foul out then!
You are delusional!
Oh, explain to us all how the team shooting from 39% from the field is shooting disastrously and the one shooting 40% on the same amount of attempts is shooting extremely well.
Giannis fouled out...you call that a blocking foul?
In reply to Ayenmol
Bucks were supposed to blow this one out with all the cheating the refs were doing.
In reply to Ayenmol
Giannis wasn't getting any points and that frustration, played out in fouling out, is own fault...no?
Should have fouled out long ago!
Warm up Jeremy Lin, Fleety feet VanVleet is...
Lawks, if Lin plays Toronto definitely done for!
In reply to JahJah
Man you just hysterical as usual because you not getting what you want.
The Bucks have shot 8 more 3 throws and hit 4 more.
That's it!
Quit crying!
In reply to Ayenmol
The Bucks have shot 8 more 3 throws and hit 4 more.
That's it!
Quit crying!
All it takes is "that's it". And they have nearly 15 more Free throws before the end of regulation. The game wouldn't have been close!!! And you claim to be watching the game!!
So quit bitching...and don't bring up King James.
Bone head play after bone head play by the Bucks!
Yeeesh!
In reply to Ayenmol
Yeeesh!
Oh, you care??
In reply to JahJah
You are the one crying bout fouls...get this right!
I guess the refs quit tirefi g now?
In reply to Ayenmol
Dey slowly running out of teefing options. They giving fouls to Bucks players who have zero fouls up until OT!!! They spreading it thin on that side.
Weh him name Bognon or something so? Wasn't it his first foul for the game a few moments ago?
They not calling the hot Buck shooter Hill. Need him nice and safe.
Kawhi gets mugged every time he goes down the lane..and hardly ever gets calls..
In reply to Darkness
You saw the molestation late in that last series' game 7 that would have put it to bed? Reddick went in with no remorse, yanked his arm and ran away quickly after the damage was done. No call.
In reply to JahJah
Never see a bigger baby than you in my life!
Jeeeezzz!
Learn to take the game as it comes.
Then again alyou LeBron fans had 15 years of tiefing so all you doh know what a fairly called game looks like!
Welcome to reality bucko!
In reply to JahJah
I remember..
These refs are shameful..
last game shot clock expired but not called..4 point swing for Bucks..I can go on and on.
In reply to Ayenmol
I'd rather be a baby than titillated stalker!
In reply to Darkness
They just showed Kawhi double dribbled on that drive that resulted in the lead...
But I guess the refs were too busy tiefing to see that!
In reply to Ayenmol
By the way, I believe this belongs to methodic.
You can use is it in your preferred orifice since Lebron will never oblige.
In reply to Ayenmol
They who?
Did they show the missed call Darkness referred to that helped extend this game to OT?
In reply to JahJah
Yeah, the old hype baby home nursing his Western fever!
Bwahahahahhaaa!
His baby fans learning to cope with realiity!
In reply to Ayenmol
make up for the countless walks Giannis had.
make up for the shot clock expiring...make up for lopez throwing Powel aside but Powel gets called and fouls out...I can go on..
Gotta say...Giannis looks tired...I tell methodic these guys never been here before, they don't know what it takes to win yet...they have not been pushed yet and Giannis already looks gassed!
I like the Raptors heart, but some Raptors fans need to stop complaining bout foul calls....jeez, you fans been bellyaching bout foul calls forever
In reply to Darkness
You obviously look at things from the Raptors side of the fence...enjoy the win and stop bytching
In reply to ray
You know they also keep stats of bad calls?
In reply to Kay
good lord, another one
you won for goodness sake
In reply to ray
Just saying you can do some fact checking
In reply to Kay
give a rest...good and bad calls been happening forever, it did not start when the Raptors entered the league
sorry...I aint that warped to fact check foul calls
In reply to ray
scuse me?
I do not mouth off without checking the numbers...check the numbers they do not lie...
In reply to Darkness
numbers my ass...you won, stop moaning and groaning. You guys been doing this shit since you entered the NBA, guess you Canadians did not look at b'ball pre Raptors
In reply to ray
How long you watching the game ray? Do not give away your age ...
In reply to ray
numbers do not lie. Anyway your statement alone tells me you are an irrational person.
When one has no substance they resort to insults.
In reply to Darkness
remind him of who invented the game nuh.
In reply to Darkness
you wouldn't know an insult if it slapped you
In reply to ray
Really??
In every sport there have been bad calls. Its when the proportion of bad calls weighs heavily against one team then outrage and complaints are justified. In 2018, the NBA admitted that there were non-calls in favour of the Bucks that that led to an overtime game between the Raps and Bucks.
He who does not protest continues to get screwed. Kawhi will continue to get hammered and will continue to get non-calls. LeBron James will continue to cry crocodile tears to the refs about every call against his team and will continue to get away with murder.
In reply to Hellraiser
another one
DO you know Charles Smith got fouled going up for a shot that would have beaten the Bulls in the playoffs...Knicks fans were upset, not so much at the non call...but at SMith for not going up and dunking the friggin ball!
Jordan got plenty calls in his favor, but stars have always gotten calls in the NBA. Kawhi is becoming a star, he will also start getting calls...check out videos on Reggie videos....them men used to"create" contact
I like the Raptors, but you fans need to focus on the no performance of some of your players instead of calls...it gets tedious
I would be more mad at Gasol for not dunking that ball and throwing it in no man's land instead....that is something to be mad at
Steph shoulda shot the 2 pointer....
Severest or ms in the area...lost direct TV feed...who won?
In reply to Ayenmol
Steph can't help himself sometimes, heh. Why take the open 2 when you can take the three?
Feel bad for the Blazers, they had a good run but were outmatched against this Warriors side, and lacked the ability to close out a game.
Seems like Lilliard tried to do too much at the end last night, but hey he's the star player for a reason.
who cares...no good teams to compete with GS in the West
Bucks shot 37% field goal.....32% from 3...67%from the line.
Raptors shot...39% field goal...38%from 3...81% from the line! At home. Won by 6.
Portland shot...48% from the field...39% from 3...70% from the line.
Warriors shot...46% from the field...31% from 3...79% from the line! Won by 2 on the road!
Knowing how to win!
In reply to Ayenmol
different series...different style...West is all about hoisting 3 pointers, East more defensive minded, with more drives to the basket
I prefer the East style of play...I know hitting more 3 pointers will eventually win the game, but I enjoy watching the East style vs pulling up and firing away threes
In reply to ray
Western Conference game 4 combined 28 of 80 three pointers made.
Eastern Conference game 3 combined 31 of 89!
Yet they shot more 3's and had a lower shooting percentage!
In reply to Ayenmol
they wearing each other out, that's why the lower %
ANyway, whomever wins the East will have to shoot better
Giannis is gassed. First time making a run in the playoffs coupled with his playing style and no outside shot to fall back on.
The Raptors meanwhile are gaining confidence.
Lowry has been lights out these last 3 games!
Incredible turnaround.
In reply to Ayenmol
In your search for an excuse, you do realise that Giannis improved tenfold over the previous outing and actually had a very good game, right?
Where the jah dude¿
He eh complaining now¿ Now that the NBA wants to ensure there is basketball all through Sunday and controlling the rhythm of the game.
I guess they're not trying to get the Raps out anymore?
I think and he here before I done...
That does not mean he's not tired. The man had little energy and is hardly motivating the team.
In reply to Ayenmol
You are such a clueless soul. So they may or may not have taken a night off. So what? Is it every match they would 'cheat' the West Indies?
Just a few days ago, you had articles 'complaining' about the huge dip in ratings when the non-American based team plays.
You think the NBA wants that?
They did have the disclaimer that they aren't able to consider/count the ratings north of the border.
In reply to Ayenmol
Hahahaha, rubbish! You in the man's body (after leaving Lebron's) to know he was tired while having arguably his 2nd best game of the series?
This should have been a Bucks win with Kawhi being 'quiet' while nursing that possible injury, no?
So your excuse is nullified right there.
So Bucks will be swept by Golden State in the final...and quite easily with all this low energy. Why bother play it, eh?
Gassed after sweeping Detroit, and then rushing past Celts 4-1. Ok then.
In reply to JahJah
It has little to do with non american and everything to do with the Raptors putrid history. No one trust the team because there is no reason to.
In reply to JahJah
It is obvious the guy, like Westbrook, has a style that is not built for long seasons and this is the first time in his life he is playing so late in the season!
I have maintained for the duration that inexperience was going to be the East downfall...they have talent, unlike just a year ago. But they got to learn to play late in the season.
In reply to Ayenmol
he didn't look tired to me, it was just a good old fashion beating. Raptors took it up a couple notches and the Bucks couldn't respond. They sure tried. Bucks biggest problem is that Iylosilva and Mirotic are not shooting well. When Giannis drive and kick they need that 3 to drop.
In reply to Ayenmol
Shows you know very little. It has nothing to do with any Raptors 'history' and more to do with where they are based. This is their 2nd ever and 2nd straight ECF.
How would that be a negative? Please explain.
Even after the Jays won a couple of World Series...
This ent hockey, mate!
In reply to JahJah
Hockey? Man most people had no idea where Golden State was till the team started winning and being interesting.
The Raptors are putrid!
Plus their local viewers do not factor into the final tally for Neilsen so that will always give them a lower than normal rating.
In reply to Ayenmol
Your ignorance is astounding. Firstly, Golden State has won before this here dynasty! Secondly, what about the Golden State killer? Didn't capture the imagination like the Zodiac, but still...
Say you. And Cleveland weren't before Lebron? The Knicks haven't been for over a decade? JUst admit you don't know WTF you're talking about.
NO SHIT, IDIOT!!! That's kinda the point, isn't it????????
In reply to JahJah
You just jump from one ignorant argument to the next littered with bad info or just words with nothing to back it up except name calling.
The Raptors were in the Eastern Conference finals last year?
good game.......please, I ain't want hear any whining Raptors fan complain bout referees
In reply to ray
He claims the NBA does not want the Raptors in the Finals, then cites that they have been there before.
Then claims the Raptors were being officiated out of game three so they don't win, then the refs took a break in game 4.
So they did not want the Raps to make the series 2-1, but had no issue with 2-2.
Or was it like I said, the Raptors are trying to be aggressive on defense and not executing well.
He cites ratings, while not considering that Toronto is not included in US ratings, then makes an edit after I point it out!
Not to mention his delludion that Toronto was in the Eastern Conference finals last year!
Raptors had not been put of the first round fr years with a couple second Rd appearances.
So just when the weather is getting good and people are paying attention to Basketball, the Raptors are getting swept! For like 5 years now!
Plus they had no players of note!
He brings up Cleveland! As if Cleveland has had any fans outside the City till LeBron...he forgets LeBron had to leave Cleveland to go build his cache because no one wanted to go there and join him!
In reply to Ayenmol
The Raptors were in the Eastern Conference finals last year?
It's their 2nd appearance. My mistake. They made it in the 2015-2016 which does NOT lessen my point. It actually STRENGTHENS it! They made it to the semis in between the finals appearances!!!!!!!!
In reply to Ayenmol
Idiot, You do know teams can still win despite getting robbed during the course of a game, right?
When did you start watching supports? Last week?
WHAT? What edit?? You are a liar and claim to be Christian? I never edited ANYTHING about US ratings. I pointed that out from the outset. Why? Because it is part of the point. Canadian TV ratings are NOT beneficial to the Americans. At least, not in the same way US ones are.
Raptors had not been put of the first round fr years with a couple second Rd appearances.
So just when the weather is getting good and people are paying attention to Basketball, the Raptors are getting swept! For like 5 years now!
3 out of 5 years. So for 3 years...no. And only ONE of those times in the 1st round...at the beginning of the 5 years.
Last 5 years.
2015: Swept 1st round
2016: Lost 4-2 in Eastern Conference Finals to King James
2017: Swept 2nd round by King James
2018: Swept 2nd round by King James
2019: Easter Conference finals again. Currently 2-2. No sweep
Now let's talk about Portland who you eh calling putrid
2015: Out in 1st round to Memphis
2016: Out in second round 4-1 to GS
2017: Swept 1st round - GS
2018: Swept 1st round - NO
2019: Swept in finals by GS
NUFF TEAMS get swept in those 5 years. Check Utah, Indiana, Boston, New Orleans, Atlanta, San Antonio, Cleveland, Detroit, Memphis and the aforementioned Portland
Plus you claim Raptors haven't been out of the 1st round for years! The above proves your ignorance. TWO conference semis (aka the 2nd round) and TWO conference finals since that 2015 1st round exit! That makes 4 out of 4 since.

Animal thinks he knows BB, but he knows squat. I have found him out already
Raptors fans, what are your thoughts on Drake being so involved in this? Seems like he's gone overboard more often than not.
In reply to Tryangle
Drake has always been supportive of the Raps. I believe he has even done some promotional stuff for the Raps.
Forget Drake for a moment, What about
this guy
In reply to WI_cricfan
That's freaking cool. Props to him.
In reply to WI_cricfan
the man always waving he towel under the basket
Drake is a bit overbearing...but guess he is a fan who happens to be famous
Like Jack with Lakers and Spike with Knicks
In reply to ray
I would never ever say the team I support don't deserve to be in the final
DOn't be a front runner Ayenmol
I stand by what I said regarding Bucks being a better squad when you had KAwhi trying to carry the team first two games. Last two games however the rest of players show up. GAme 3 was crazy, havent seen that many players in foul trouble in a playoff game since the 90s. Raptors bench finally wakeup too. Still dont think they will win this series but they showed more resolve than I initially gave them credit for
In reply to defeyeant
if the bench players were performing year round, I figured eventually they will start producing...better now because there would be no later if they don't
In reply to defeyeant
Bucks will beat plenty teams with those tall guys with long arms, but they will have a difficult time with guard oriented teams like Raps and Warriors...if they go on to face GS, they might be swept.
I give Raps a better chance against GS ( I know it sounds crazy, but if most of the guys on Raps are on their game, it will be a hellava series)
In reply to Tryangle
Drake gets attention because of who he is
Hes no more involved than Spike Lee was at Knicks games or Jack Nicholson at Lakers games
The Raptors super fan is Nav Bhatia......hands down. Nobody complains about him going overboard even though hes just as, if not more passionate than Drake.
Celebrity is good for the team and the league. The more involved they become, the better it is.
One day, a celeb will tackle an opposing player or coach and the ratings will go even higher
In reply to ray
I know the games in the regular season means squat when playoff time comes around. It might be good to note though, the Raps swept the Warriors in the regular season (if you call 2-0 a sweep), while Bucks/Warriors regular season games 1-1.
However, as was said before; its all about match-ups. And I know Ayenmol will come out with guns blazing when I say- The Raps are better equipped to neutralize the Warriors' offense.
That being said, whichever team survives this series will be badly wounded entering the NBA finals.
In reply to Hellraiser
ayenmol don't know basketball ...he does just follow headlines
In reply to ray
Yuh see wah yuh gone and do? Another good "talking to" coming your way.
In reply to imusic
Didn't Mark Cuban come close to this some time back?
In reply to Tryangle
These 'celebs' do it for the notoriety.
Simple as that, the Team benefits and so do they.
Plus it soothes their ego.
I could do without it. I could do without the Networks showing ot constantly.
In reply to Ayenmol
That's my thought. The networks can pan the audience to spot a celeb or two, cool. But when the celebs are inserting themselves into the contest with their antics it's a bit offputting. Yes I get that it's good business for the Raps and Drake to have that relationship, but yeah.
In reply to Tryangle
Drake is Global Ambassador for the Raptors.
This was gifted to him before game last night
In reply to Kay
So where are all the other marketing and team spokespeople? Why aren't they being shown actin the fool?
In reply to Ayenmol
Why are you asking me those questions? I just post some information....
In reply to Kay
It's rhetorical....
I see people using my observation that Giannis is gassed on Other threads like it's theirs...
Oh well!
But am being attacked here for the observation from game 2 on.
As usual...always attacked then mimicked by those who can't identify issues.
In reply to Ayenmol
It has been dumbed-down. Sort of like current goings-on in the White House.
This is the team that was going to beat the Warriors?
Giannis has alot to do with his game....get a jump shot!
You not winning in the Playoffs on athleticism alone.
In reply to Ayenmol
I never thought they can beat the Warriors, I give TO a better chance to compete

But, but Sir, remember you posted this? You wanted to know who will stop Giannis?
I was looking at an interview with Giannis after game 5. He was lost for words and seemed stunned and angry. The Raptors have exposed the kinks in his armour and unless he develops a midrange shot, his mojo is gone and ain't coming back.
In reply to Hellraiser
The Raptors made one adjustment and the Bucks have yet to overcome it.
They moved Kawhi on Giannis defensively, then trapped him early before he had a chance to gather the ball and split the defense.
Giannis is limited....I have been saying this from day one...dude has NO shot outside of his go to move at the basket.
Plus the coaching staff has not made any adjustments to counteract what Nurse did!
In the meantime the Raps confidence is growing.
I had typed up this description before last night's game but this old tablet I got now messed up and I did not retype.
The Raps have more experience, and because Kawhi kept them in it their confidence have grown...Bucks need time to grow as well.
In reply to Ayenmol
Giannis and the Bucks are like a deer caught in the headlights.
In reply to Ayenmol
One of the weird things about the Raptors is that Nick Nurse as an assistant coach was in charge of offense.
Under his watch, the Raptors have mutated into an elite defensive team. In many games it is their defense that keeps them alive when their shooting is off target. And one of their elite defenders was not available for the playoff so far- O.G. Anunoby.
In reply to Ayenmol
whats killing the Bucks is no contribution from Ilyosilva and Mirotic. Both hit a lot of threes in the earlier series.
In reply to methodic
Nullified by what is killing the RAPs: Danny Green is AWOL. Gasol is in and out.
And oh how they miss OG.
Giannis reminds me of a pre Miami Heat Lebron
In reply to methodic
Giannis is more atletic than LeBron ever was.
But LeBron was not the inept shooter Giannis is.
Giannis needs to learn to develop a consistent midrange.
He needs to develop a few post moves as well, not just this constant run into the mididle and try to dunk.
This attitude of physically dominant players is why I rate Jamorant above Zion!
Unless Zion shows a willingness to grow his game.
In reply to Ayenmol
as usual, nonsense regarding Giannis more athletic than LeBron ever was...but I aint got time with you cause you're just a LeBron hater
In reply to ray
Michael Jordan was not half the shooter that Steph is!
Or half as strong or versatile as Lebron....
Some people look at players and see their strengths and weaknesses.
Others can't see anything bad!
Which one do you think you are when it comes to your God Lebron?
Where the genius who said the NBA was tiefing to keep Toronto from the Finals because of ....ratings?
I will salute Raptors team for making finals but truth be told Bucks also help in their own defeat. From game three of this series they were a completely different team from what we have seen so far in the playoffs.
I wanted a Bucks vs Warriors finals (of course the Bucks we saw earlier in the play off season) because it would have been much better competition for Warriors. This Raptors team have a slim chance of beating Warriors in a seven game series. The help Leonard will need to beat the Warriors does not exist in the Raptors. So in the end we will have a less exciting a possibly shorter NBA finals
In reply to Ayenmol
HAhahahahahahhaa
Bawl Ayemdull! Keep bawling. We done see yu ball IQ go through the floor.
Truth is, it was never there.
In reply to problemjay
Bucks would have been swept as well. Stop yu noise. They just got exposed. Their centre piece got pwned EVEN WITHOUT AN INJURED OG on the defensive end to help padlock him further, and that was that.
OH BOY. I can't wait to watch Undisputed to see sour face Skip 'Baseless' rant and rave about Number 2 as always.
Always fun to watch him make a fool of himself. The White Ayenmol.
In reply to problemjay
Man, the Raptors finally played with confidence and the Bucks could not keep up under pressure!
You think they would be able to keep up with the scoring output of the Warriors?
Steeeuupppsss. ..
In reply to JahJah
Ha. I told you the Raptors were playing like garbage....and the NBA was not the reason they were losing.
They made adjustments...at the end of the day, another sacrificial lamb for the Warriors...they are winning game one!
Kawhi and them can't shut down one player and beat the Warriors!
Nor will they find a team that struggles to put up threes when needed!
In reply to JahJah
Small man don't bother call my name I know you happy in Toronto but I could care less who won because my interest is in seeing a close NBA final. And the Bucks did not get swept, what series are you watching? The focus now is the NBA final and I don't see how this Raptors can give the Warriors a serious run
In reply to Ayenmol
Putrid Raptors last 4 years is what son? 2 ECF semis and 2 ECF finals...and an NBA final.
Yeah, garbage.
I don't have any expectations for the final. Just happy to get their for the first time in history despite you know what...
Oh, and it is nice to see the egg on your face. Cleap up on aisle 2!
In reply to problemsgalore
Man move and gweh. Warriors on a different planet to EVERY TEAM. Stop act like RAPs are the only team they can and will dismantle. You saw what happened to the Rockets and Trailblazers? Warriors are scary. They are the dynasty.
Yeah, you don't want to get swept and beaten like a stepchild, but you certainly would have company.
Hopefully the Warriors are rusty rather than well rested, and the RAPs can recover from the very very hard fought series.
In reply to JahJah
You better not! This ain't babies they going up against now...nor a team passing the ball like hot potato scared to take a three when down by 5 with a minute and a half to go!
Draymond can guard Kawhi, so can igoudala, plus other big they can throw on him!
Who gonna shoot with Steph? Lowry? Lilard could not! Lillard is a better shooter than lowry!
If Klay hot streak continues? Then this will be done in 4!
In reply to Ayenmol
Yawn. You're just a waggonist. You go where it's hot. When GS's dynasty is broken up, I can't wait to see you sell your faithfulness to another team.
That's the difference between you and we. Yu nuh see how many people pack Jurassic Park tonight despite the stormy weather?
Win or lose - WE THE NORTH!
Best city in North America.
Have a good night! And careful on those US roads. If the cops don't get you, some nut will.
In reply to JahJah
I have no teams dude...I root for players and teams that I like based on how they play the game.
I have rooted for the Warriors before they started winning!
And more so when they annihilated Lebron!
Pleasantly surprised by the win. Congrats Raptors!
Btw ...weren't you one of the people crying that Kawhi was a one year rental and not worth it?
Why did they give up pieces for him?
Was I not the one telling you that Kawhi was a winner and that is what Toronto needed to get over the hump?
Ha...right again!
Watch...even if he decides to leave the team now has a taste for winning...look how Lowry stepped up! Siakam! Those guys believe in themselves now, because Kawhi refused to go down to Philli or give up against the Bucks.
In reply to Ayenmol
You need to address someone rather than leave it open. Who you talking to Hoss?
Curry will be back 'home' in Toronto next week. Nice.
Steph that is.
In reply to JahJah
I was talking to you...but the evidence I found absolves you....I know there was more than one thread...but the other might have been titled different.
May have been a Lebron thread...I will do a brief search for that later.
In reply to Ayenmol
I was talking to you...but the evidence I found absolves you....I know there was more than one thread...but the other might have been titled different.
LOL. There is no evidence to be found because I never said anything like that. Not even remotely close!!!!!!
In reply to JahJah
Yeah what did you say about the trade?...for such a huge fan funny that you never showed.
Hard to believe you never gave an oppinion...am sure one is out there!
A boastful binks like you? Silence could only mean one thing.

THE BAD
problemjay 5/16/19, 2:06:54 PM
Will be a Bucks vs Warriors final. And for the first time in recent years Warriors will be dominated and outplayed by their opposition. Mark my words!
THE UGLY

Too bad LeBron could not make the playoffs even in a weak Conference.
Even when going playoff activated!
Or whatever he called it!
